I got the same text and response after asking who it was. It was from textwoman91 but it wasn't from that 909 number. It was from a 436 or 439 area code. So I responded with, guess I'll never know since I don't have yahoo messenger! The people behind all of this crap REALLY need to get a life because obviously, none of us have time for this!!!

1-Has anyone chatted with cleverbot?
2- if someone lost their phone I'd at least know one of you... Correct?
3-this number is from lindsburg Kansas, I don't know anyone from there.
4-one of those autobot thingies from yahoo accounts we use to have?

followed by hey my phone is running out of battery just talk to me on Y.
they said name was textieflirty44.
When I call the number it is a text only service

Do you guys post your cell # on your Facebook page? I think I may have mine listed and I wonder if there's a crawler that pulls numbers and names and is spam texting. Just a theory.

I received these texts today:
5:05pm: hey Molly u there? Have not heard from u in a while.
ME: 5:05pm: Who is this?
5:06pm: haha if u want to know who this is u gotta add me on yahoo msngr, my name is textchikie6
ME: 5:07pm: Nope not that interested
5:07pm: hey my cell is about to die. just talk to me on Y! ;-)


I wonder what kind of scam this is for.

Just like everyone else has said: "hey ____ you there?? Have not heard from you in a while."
I replied asking who it was, and they told me to go on Yahoo to find out; I knew it was a scam because no one uses Yahoo anymore.

Received the same text as everyone else with my name filled in....how I have no idea but I did not reply.

"Hey ____ u there? haven't heard from you in a while."

Got the same message today, with textgirl2.

Got the same exact message as above saying it was from "txtchikie6".

Got the same message.  I asked "who is this", and I got a message to add "textwoman91" to yahoo messenger.  Maybe someone lost their cell phone, because the person sending the message has everyone's name.  Anyway we can figure out if there is a connection between all the people getting texts.  I am certain that it is a scam, all the messages we are receiving are the same.

Just got the same text. Knew my name to!! Said talk to you on yahoo my battery is going out on my phone.. What the hell?!!

I got the same text today. Says the same exact things as everyone else but a different username for yahoo messenger. The only thing that freaks me out it that it said my name on there.
