Just got this call from 1-9160245-8457.  Repeated message 2x then hung up.

Received another couple calls from this scammer today.  This time AT&T CID said "wireless caller".  I don't think AT&T changes their CID database records that frequently for the same number, more than likely the scammer is spoofing their CNAM.  Yet another confirmation of the scammer trying to disguise itself.  

Do not trust anybody who calls from this number.

Got two calls from "out of area" within 10 minutes of each other at 8:15AM, they left no messages, typical behavior of a telescammer.

The number's prefix (tagged to Ontario, CA) is a landline handled by PG Telecomm located in Laguna Nigel, CA (888 832 9422).  PG Telecomm is not accredited by the BBB and has several of its numbers reported as being involved in telescammer operations.

Called our fax machine three times today, just kept calling.  Just stupid.

This number called me this morning at 9:30 - I did not answer but called the number back and told robo-woman that I was on the do not call list and to please remove my number from their call list.  We'll see if they do...

I wonder how those telemarketer got our phone #.  
After I have changed my service plan with the same phone company, those crank calls
come in like a tidal waves.  
I wonder whether the phone company has the right to sell our number for profit,
victimize us as a fool, and also have us paying for those harashment.  
Where is our legal right ???  Someone should do something with those monster, and
put them into cage with legal boundaries defined upon their outrageous profit-
oriented business practice!!  
Now, I believe we really need a real senator or congressman who really represent us!!

Calls three times a day, no message. We just hang up when we see the area code 909.

Folks, please pay attention: if you think that posting your complaints, and making requests to have your numbers removed from any list on this forum is going to work, you're sadly mistaken. These telemarketers don't care if you're on the Do Not Call List; they don't care if you don't want them to call; they don't care if you call them names or hang up on them. They don't care if it's illegal. They just DON'T CARE.

They are relentless.

They will NEVER stop.

Best advice? Put your phone on silent, and never answer it. You are not required to answer that appliance. Let it ring, forget about it, and go on with your day. If someone wants to reach you that badly, they will leave a message.

Recording actually left a message regarding reducing utility bills and they were NOT a sales call (ya, right).  It directed to press 5 for more information or 3 to no longer receive calls.  I pressed 3, time will tell if it worked.

What is the point if when you answer they hang up?

Have received numerous calls from 909-638-2276.  Never answer but did try calling back to receive a robotic woman asking caller to leave a message.  How can these call be stopped?

Called once today. Hung up before answering machine could take it at fourth ring.

909-638-2276 called twice today and left a message on the answering machine. "Hello, you appear to be eligible for a 65% rate reduction with your current electric company. This enrollment process ends very soon. Press 5 now to confirm your rate reduction. Press 3 now to revoke your eligibility and receive rate increases."  They did not identify themselves or give the name of their business.

Stop calling!

Keeps calling and leaves no message.  Other reports indicate this is a spammer.

BTW. This allows me to listen to CNN without being interrupted by these illegal callers as the TV plays and helps keep the phone occupied.

Annoying calls can possibly be stopped if you activate a fax tone, I have one on my answering machine.

TRY THIS.
Call back the number and be sure your TV or stereo is up realllly loud. When the friendly female robovoice asks you to leave a message, put the phone near the source and let it run as long as you like. Seems fair.

No message left. This # just tried to call many times in the past. It's from Ontario, CA.

Called, hung up without speaking...  

Number called a few minutes ago - voicemail picked up and they hung up. No message left. Grrrrr.....

This number locked up my fax for hours until I discovered it.

5 min ago   no message    called 3 times a day

Called twice today, no message left.

Did not answer.  No message left.
