i got the same scam by tex message to my cell phone ,with a subjec: SPAM Your 4828XXXXXXXXXXXXWachovia Debit Card Been Limited.Please call 910-687-6060
They want your money some machine pre-recorded answer the phone.

I had the same problem and they took everyuthing out of my account...I hope they find these people before its too late!!!!

I have gotten three text messages saying my Wachovia Debit Card has been limited please call 910-687-6060 and one said call 646-755-6212.  The messages were from edkrq@messaging.sprintpcs.com, mevjem@messaging.sprintpcs.com and alert@alert.com.
I called the 910-687-6060 from a landline and that number was disconnected.  I called 646-755-6212 and it said the person at ext 1507 is unavailable please leave a message.  Then the recording sd the voice mailbaox can't accept any messages.
I don't have an account with Wachovia and wish the messages would stop!

DO NOT CALL OR TEXT THIS NUMBER BACK!

IT IS A SCAM DELETE FROM YOUR PHONE AND CALL YOUR PHONE PROVIDER AND BANKS TO CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS.

IT WAS ON NATIONAL NEWS LAST NIGHT.

I'm sure it's a scam I don'y have anything with Wachovia

I got the same number on my cell phone.  Although I have debit cards with Wachovia, I have never given them my cell phone number.  I did not return the call.  What can we do to prvent this?

And of course, the 1st 4 digits are the bank identifier and has nothing to do with an individual account.

I got two messages so far. They are very annoying. I'll try to contact Wachovia.

I got 2 messages with the same phone number, also. They are trying different account numbers. It is very annoying!I'll try to have it tracked from Wachovia.

I just got a text from alert@alert.com this morning that reads:

I have never banked with Wachovia, and I too thought this was strange.

I just got a text message on my phone the READS
Subject:[SPAM] Your 4828XXXXXXXXXXXXX WachoviaDebitCardHadBeenLimited. PleaseCall:(910)687-6060.

I googled the number and got this site so I am posting this message cuz that was truly strange since I have no such account.

I just called wachovia and they said do not call that number but call your bank--and email the text you got to tammy.snider@wachovia.com so they can track where its coming from.

I got a text with the same info, but they ask me to call to 910-687-6060. I dind't....
