Why are these people allowed to solicit as being associated with the Sheriff's Department?  Take me off of your calling list immediately !

I have gotten several calls in Oct around the same time of day. never lm and did not answer when I called back. I have gotten 2 calls in Nov. Will look into blocking this ph number as well.

I have gotten several calls in Oct about the same time everyday from this number. I've been called twice in Nov at different times. I called back immediately after but got no answer. No messages have been left but the caller hangs up when I answer.

Get a weard call asking for me and have no idea who it was.  Would not leave there name. Creapy!

These clowns have called here 34 times in the last 4 months (they're blocked now) and have never left a message before I blocked them. In my opinion, any legitimate business or organization would certainly leave a msg on the 2nd call. I suspected they're soliciting or scamming and PatBB's entry confirms my suspicion.

The Web site PatBB lists was non-functional when I visited today (9/29) and the ownership of that Domain is HIDDEN! Legitimate businesses and organizations do NOT hide their ownership.

Do yourself a favor and either don't answer or BLOCK them as we do.

Today I answered their call & got somebody from the Wilmington NC Firefighters' Union asking me to buy tickets to their Beach Music Show in Duplin County on Nov. 20/ 2011 @ $26 each.  I told Scott that I wanted to research because I am very cautious about phone solicitations for safety forces per BBB warnings.  He gave me their Web address ncstatefire.org , where I saw that there really was a show.  Although I don't like their calling methods, I do respect the work of the union & members, so I phoned a # on the Webpage to buy 2 tickets.  I gave that lady my phone # so she could list me as a buyer who should not be phoned any more.

This number calls several times a week and when we answer they hang up.  When you call back either the line is busy or no one answers.  Can't the phone services do something to stop this nonsense?

These people have called several times and never leave a message.  I called the number back more than once and do not get an answer or answering machine or anything.  Really tired of these phone calls.  If you want to talk to me at least leave a name and number that I can call back if I so choose too.

Why are these people allowed to make calls to us that have the Do-Not-Call registered?  They never leave a message so sure it has something to do with someone wanting a donation or two!!  Plus if you call them back the line is always busy.

3 calls from this number in the last week I answer no one is there. Call back & busy signal. I think I can block numbers on my digital line...going to check it out now.

They call me often, I answer and they hang up.  I call them back- no answer!  Hate this!

CAlled at 3:13 PM. Phone rang 3-4 times before I answered, then party hung up when answered.

This is not right. Why do we allow these type of calls to our phone lines & are unable to locate the caller.
Why do we have to put up with this crap & we are unable to get back to that caller?
This sucks really.
YOU WONDER WHY NORMAL PEOPLE CRACK UP & DO DUMB THINGS TO OTHERS.IF PEOPLE WANT TO GET EVEN THEY SHOULD ATTACT THE REPS THAT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN.
