Called me 6 times in about 3 hours, but no messages were left.

The person, who had a foreign accent, called on a Saturday around 4p.m. and said that they were from Employment Services regarding a job application I had submitted. This seemed odd so I told them I wasn't here and could I take a message. They just left their name with no call back number and said they would try again.

They will call me on my cell phone and the house phone and never left a message! So when they call i usually hanged up the phone on them!

Broken English female stated without identifying herself or company indicating a need to verify personal information for employment position. I advised I have not applied for such and she replied I was selected or the position.  When I refused see states my file would be marked uncooperative. OH well

Additional info.

This number is cold calling people who have filled out an online request for additional info on secondary education.  The caller is a company who 'claims' to be able to match you to a local school.   When called back, the female voice is NOT a real person - but it IS a really, really good computer that can respond to what you say to it.   But, if you go off topic it gets lost really quickly and when you ask it questions, it will give you generic replies that when you get it looped back to giving you the same reply twice - you realize that it is a recorded response and that 'she' is saying the EXACT same line over and over in reply to your question.

Worse though, is the referrals that they give you.   A lot of these 'schools' that you are given as part of the replies to your 'search' with this service are just online Diploma Mills whose programs are NOT accredited and WILL NOT transfer to other "real" schools.

So, be advised that this service and those behind it are looking to profit from you by having you sign up for financial aid at institutions that may not give you what you are paying for - or what you THINK you are paying for.  

Even funnier?  They state that if you want to attend an actual PHYSICAL school that they will suggest a local school within 40 miles of your location.   Since when is Grand Canyon University (in Arizona) located within 40 miles of Wilmington, NC???    And their second suggestion was in Boulder, Colorado.  I guess that the person doing the suggesting hadn't passed geography, eh?   Or perhaps they should have had a class on MapQuest?

Regardless, this is an exercise in futility since the robot voice just wants to hook you up to apply for financial aid and get you registered in one of these distance education programs in some online only school so that this referral company can get their big, fat FEE!!!  

Which is the WHOLE purpose to these annoying calls.

3 phone calls in two hours. I don't answer unknown numbers. No message left. Thankfully I can enter the number as a contact and block it through Mr. Blocker. Spaminator!

Multiple calls from this number at all times of the day.  Call usually ends before answering machine picks up.

Faked number, caller is NOT in NC as the number shows.  This is a VoIP phone number.  

Cold calling for some type of "Academic Advising" -  Student loan scam.

I found out this solicitor is Academic Advisors located in Wilmington, North Carolina. http://www.whycall.me/910-795-2584.html  & the same telemarketer is also using another phone 206-596-7845 from Washington (Seattle).

This caller 910-795-2584 is from North Carolina (Fayetteville, Jacksonville, Wilmington). I reported to the DONOTCALL.GOV website & now I'm getting harrassed by the solicitors again calling every day & the caller doesn't leave a message & my phone number is unlisted. I live in an Apt & since my Caller ID received this phone call I have received other out-of-state calls that do not leave a message every hour from an automatic dialer the same type of calls. I had to replace the batteries in the Caller ID & this is continually unwanted harrassment & must be stopped.

I only saw a missed call on my cell phone. I would not call that number back because I did not recognize it.  There was no message let on my voice mail.  I do not would these people calling me.  

They keep calling asking for my Son.

I answered... a woman asked for me and I asked who is calling. She then hung up. I tried to call back from my cell, and a work LAN line but the call never goes through. It just ends without a ring.

Repeated calling without leaving a message.

whoever called did it at 8 pm on a Sunday evening - don't these people have better things to do with their time!

I got a call from the same number, they never left a message. Don't answer unless I know who it is.

I'm not sure why they called. I didn't answer it, but they didn't leave a message.

Notification on my phone indicates its SPAM.
