FTC: "Robocall challenge" winner to receive $50,000

By now, everyone should have figured out that the FTC
DO NOT CALL LIST [so-called] IS JUST A BIG JOKE.  
However, everyone should keep filing their complaints,
and to keep their own respective log regarding same.
Here is an example of my own personal log-book, which
is very easily and simply kept by using "TEXT:"

I keep a separate TEXT FILE named for each and every
number I receive these damned calls from, and then to
just add to it, most recent call at the top.

Nothing is going to happen on this, unless "EVERYONE"
continually bombards the FBI, your CONGRESSMAN,
your LOCAL TV NEWS, any and all NEWSPAPERS, etc.
I have been doing this myself, but will not continue to
be the only one doing it.  Strongly suspect that at least
the FBI has now "black-balled" my email name.  Either
that, or they simply responnd as "NOT READ," just as my
Congresswoman; Kay Granger of Texas has also done.

They have called several times.  Every time when we ask them to mail some information, they just simply hang up. WTF??

you can block it all you want they always spoof the caller id to make it seem like they are calling from different locations most likely you will be called again

Get this, these calls did not start till  life lock for someone who frauded us gave our numbers Data breach!

912-856-9717: A perky recording from "Heidi" came on and asked "you" to leave a message. I did not leave a message, of course. Is there going to a new group of robo-call recordings? Will all the girls have new names? Will Rachel have had her last gasp?

"FREE" Home Security system offered by "Security Protection", Yeah Right!!!

I press the number 1, as I always do. The person that answers says "Hello"

about 3 or 4 times and hangs up when I don't say anything.

THE ONLY SATISFACTION I CAN GET IS TO KNOW THAT I HELPED WASTE
THEIR TIME ON THE PHONE.  IF EVERYONE DID THIS THEY WOULD BE
TIED UP ON THE PHONE WITHOUT ANY SALES AND MAYBE THAT WILL
STOP THE CALLS.

Annoying calls!  I am really tired of getting these. Do they actually think they are going to get my business?  Want these calls to stop! Would rather get junk mail then be disturbed at all hours of the day and night!

Yesterday evening, I got a second call from 912-856-9717.  The call came in at 6:58 pm on August 30, 2012.  The caller left a message trying to sell security systems.  After the first call I filed a complaint on donotcall.gov.  I'm on the federal Do Not Call list.  The caller was Security Solutions.

Just a bunch of useless Robo-Calling scammers.

The system is "free" with their WAY OVERPRICED monitoring and other junk fees.

Got a call from this number with the "Don't hang up" bit. These calles have all started since I asked N.E. Green company to stop calling me

I've been getting unwanted calls from this number for months.  I am on the do-not-call list.  Regardless of whether they are selling something or not, I DO NOT WANT TO BE CALLED BY ANYONE unless I know them.  I am also unlisted.

This afternoon, I got a call from 912-856-9717 on August 30, 2012.  It was a recorded message from Security Solutions.  I was out and they left a message, which is unusual for a telemarketer.  My number is on the federal Do Not Call list.  I'm going to report them on donotcall.gov.  It only takes a minute or two.

Got a call from this number about ten minutes ago they did not leave any message of course.

They called me at work -- said "Are you the homeowner?"  I said, "No, but I'm the cube-owner.  This is a business and I'd like to put an alarm on my cube ..." and they hung up.  Dang it, I really wanted that free alarm on my cube to keep out the annoying coworkers!!!

Yep, when they say "don't hang up", it is the first thing I do.

Report this and all "Free GE Alarm System"  calls to the Do Not Call Registry.  The name of the company behind them is "Protect America".  They're based in Texas.   They also do the robocall that starts out with "The FBI has Determined there is a home break-in every 14 seconds..."  blah  blah  blah!  They've calling my number for 5 YEARS.

"Do not hang up.  Congratulations!  Your home equity..."  We must assume that these callers who ignore the DNC list are all crooks.  Never give them any information!  Certainly don't ever do business with them.

My caller ID said it was a wireless caller. They left a sales pitch on my answering machine for a home wireless security system. SPAM sales call. Aug 30,2012

Just got a call from this number.  I've been getting called every day from random numbers in random states.  I've read that it's best not to answer (because then they think they have a good number), but it doesn't seem to be working.  When I call the number back, it just rings and rings.

How stupid to they think we are.  When a robot voice starts with "Don't hang up," I slam the phone down.

Just a fraud.
