I just received a call and a VM from this #, but there is no way to actually identify who they are when you call back- they allege they are a debt collector in the VM and will be contacting HR to serve me... FOR WHAT?!  Put them on my blocked call list.  SCAM.

I agree, I have been getting the same kind of calls too.  Even my attorney I have for another legal manner informed me to look this number and any other numbers these people keep trying to get you served or something. I filed a Chapter 13 and been getting a lot of these calls, and my attorney's office don't want to keep calling, so they use this '800 Notes' by Google to assist and not bother them anymore, it's been working out great.

I too received the same call yesterday; I was finally fed up with their mutliple calls from all different phone numbers so I called this phone number back after 6 PM- CST.  A person actually answered- her name was Angela Donaldson- when I asked what company I was calling she said B&A Associates, but she would not disclose their physical address or State of business for "security purposes".  She said if I wanted that information that I needed to call back tommorrow between the hours of 8- 5 PM to talk to someone.  She also let it slip that it was the Eastern time zone- so it must be a business operating in that time zone of the country.  I also asked her if they were a collection agency, and she said no a law firm.  She never asked me what my name was or for a case #; she just said that I was asking a lot of questions.  Funny how a law firm would have someone working after 5 PM, and would be calling people about something instead of sending them something in writing?  I don't know of any law firms in my state that handle business in that manner nor are they not willing to give out their corporate information.  Something is not right in all of this.  I tried calling back again about 1/2 hour later, and then no one answered the phone.  I just was sent to some blanket VM box or extenstion to leave a message so I hung up.  I tried to look up this company under the BBB website and cannot find anything.

When I tried to call one of the phone numbers back a couple of days ago, they gave me a different company name but would not provide me with their company address, phone number, etc.  They said for security reasons they couldn't.  The never asked for my name just my case #.  I said I am just calling to find out what company this is.  The first lady hung up; then I called back again, and a different person answered- she even game me another company name different than the first but would not give out any information; it sounded like I was being recorded or that someone else was on the line as I kept hearing beeps.  She said that I was asking too many questions.  I told her that they were operating illegally and hung up.

I got this call with the above-mentioned message.  When I call back someone answered Legal Department and I asked legal dept of what company - she finally rattled off Baker and Assoc. yeah right.  She said I had an attitude when I only verified my name. She hung up on me - very unprofessional. I called back and this time they asked if they where talking to 'xxxx' I said yes then she wanted the last four of my SS#. I told her I was not supplying that information and to please just send the sheriff department to serve me and I preferred to see them in court.  She hung up too. Lol SCAM!!! Never supply them with any information if they are going to serve you they should already have the pertinent information and there is no need for validation.

Received the very same message today- tired of these calls.  So far I have received the exact same calls from the following phone numbers- all different area codes and states- or they are spoofed? Get a life people!!!!!!!!!!

Received a threatening call from this phone number today- a robo recorded VM was left from a so- called -Clarence Thomas from the legal processing division.  So far I have received calls from the following different numbers with the same messages.

All the phone numbers are from different states or are spoofed.

Robo Call, with recorded name, Clarance Thomas, from Processing and Summons division,(of WHAT?)  need to confirm work and home address;  to proceed legally against me at this time.  Will contact my human resources divison and serve me on the property (why do they need to confirm my address then???) SCAM debt Collection!!!  I have  gotten this same message from Mr. Thomas in the past, and no action.  Just empty threats.  Which is in direct contradiction of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
