We first encountered this company in 2003 when they bought equipment form us that was used to make thousands of calls per minute. The purchased special equipment from us on eBay then because we did not agree to give them a whole lot of freebies with their small order they flooded our phone lines and made it virtually impossible for us to make or recieve calls 24 hours a day for several days. Once we realized that it was them we contacted the local police in their area who told us that there was nothing that they could do since we were located in New Jersey so we did the next best thing, we forwarded SBN's thousands of call to that local police station who inturned contacted us after contacting SBN to ask us to stop the forwarded calls and when we stopped the forwarded calls FOR SOME REASON UNKNOWN TO US NOT 1 CALL FROM SBN CAME INTO OUR OFFICE EVER AGAIN!

Lol. I got a call from the same number.  I tried to press 3 to stop the calls, but it didn't work.  Next time they called back, I pressed 1 to speak with them and give them a piece of my mind.  Then they forwarded me to a sexline.  I was not thrilled to say the least.  I saw a report on the news about this and basically, they are unstoppable because the authorities are unable to track them down.  Go Figure.

  I am sorry for you to hear of your misfortune. Telemarketing seems to be a shady business to be in (whether you are honest or not)
I absolutely do not trust my government.That is all I will publicly say about that.
You are not alone in these hard times ,my husband and I each had no choice but to close both of our businesses.Most days we don't know how we are going to feed our family.We cannot afford to go to the doctor.
Your misfortune does NOT make me happy.Just because we cannot trust strangers dont assume everyone is a jerk.Most people on this site are just frustrated at having their homes invaded through the phone.
 There is a real concern for your children.How can they not be adversely affected by your consumption of "liberal amounts of alcohol on a daily basis"
 Not to mention how expensive it is. We are so broke we cant afford alcohol. So count your small blessings.

I recommend Time Warner phone and cable TV.  I leave my phone unplugged so it doesn't ring.  A prompt appears on TV with caller ID.  I ignore all unknown calls. A log of last 20 calls can  be indexed on the TV screen for real calls or logging complaints.   I also have a second phone and a DSL splitter (2 phones close by on 1 line).  It's fun to give these low lifes  feedback after accessing the caller's live voice by placing one phone ear peice to other phone's mouth peice.  This causes a peircing high pitched squeal. I picture them with a head set and laugh.  The ones I've done this to don't call back.

I have received called at least 3 times a day from this number 914-224-2233.They start at 8 in the morning and have called as late as nine.I have REPEATEDLY pressed 1 to politely ask to be removed from their calling list.Every time they immediately hang up on me, however today the man I spoke with told me I "wasted his time by pressing one and bothering him!!! " I explained he has wasted my time by having to stop in the middle of dinner to answer my phone.He responded by telling me "I did not have to answer my phone" Yes I do.I am tired of these calls and rude people.I am on the do not call list and have lost patience with these people.

Recorded message that this was their 2nd and final notice regarding my credit card account and interest rate change! Funny thing is I do NOT have one single credit card!  However, this is the 5th or 6th call from them in about 2 weeks.

These are complete fraudsters.  When asked for their name they gave me card member services.

Solved this last week, when they call I just hit the hook switch on the fax machine.  Just had to do it once, must mark the number as fax.

Just got my first and last call from this number.  No message left.  Blocking them now!

And for those that keep saying to file a complaint, that is not going to do any good. They will simply switch their number and continue to call you. These calls have been going on for years and all the complaints filed haven't stopped them. So really it is pointless.

Greg: These people are using SPOOF cards; the 'do not call list" is not a wasted government function; it DOES STOP those who do not use those !@#$%^& SPOOF Cards.  Look up Spoof cards on the Internet and it will make your fur curl.  The Attorney Generals are fighting Congress to stop these people that make them.. You can "program" the card to make the caller think it's from someone else and also you can disguise your voice.  It's a sick way these idiots who make them make the rest of us suffer as well bothering businesses too. The phone companies can not do one thing about it as you can't trace the calls!

They called me about an hour ago - again!  Yes, I'd like to join whomever is willing to start a class action suit. The do Not Call  registry is uselesss.  This is the 3rd telemarketing/scam call I've received today.  I didn't keep a list before of all the ones I've complained to the DNC, but am doing so now.  Then, I guess the next step is to contact the FCC.  As with others, the only ID shown was Wireless.

These people call and tell you to get a good Credit Card rate press 9.  I never carry a balance, so I was intregied to hear their BS.  I pressed 9 and the line went dead....I hope they follow...

Received at least 3 calls in one day and few minutes ago I tried to stoop it - how hilarious from me - by answering to their procedure pressing #9 on the keypad and got to a live Operator with no name bit cristal clear a woman.
Sher asked if i was looking for the rate adjustment and i said no but to remove my number from her call list and i got a 'no' and it was hung up.
If it's true what John reports about the who and whereabouts of this caller scam I will happily drive by in  the neighborhood of Agoura Hills, CA.
