Called at about 10PM, let the answering machine pick it up, they left no message, I saw these posts and now it is a blocked number.

I didn't answer a call from this number because I didn't recognize the area code along with the Caller ID showed Neighbor. no message was left so I assume it's an auto dialer with a robo call.

They have been robo-calling using different numbers, obviously spoofed as different area codes are shown, but always with the name Neighbor and never leaving a message.

Caller ID showed from "Katonah NY" I picked up and it immediately hung up, then immediately called me back with caller ID changed to "NEIGHBOR"
ROBOCALLER Message yelled "Don't hang up, this is not a sales call...  blah blah, claimed AARP referred them, then said my doctor referred them.
These scum are using every trick they have right out of the gate to FOOL you into thinking they are legitimate or that somebody referred them to me.  
I pushed 1 and a guy came on "American Alert Services, this is Ben, can I ask who I am talking with?"
I of course didn't tell him anything but kept him on the line asking HIM all kinds of questions till he got fed up and hung up on me. See, he didn't want to give me ANY information about his company, where they are, what their phone number is or anything!

dead air...dead call   scam

Caller id was neighbor, left message offering $3,000 in groceries.  Didn't answer, never answer unless I recognize the name.  Blacklist another senior scam number.  They keep coming - had six or seven anonymous calls in just a few days.

Scammer call to rob seniors from their life savings.  - Random calling as I am not over 60.  

So, it starts out with the robo call about $3000 in coupons and a alert monitoring - Press 1 and you get a long recording about Senior Care USA. Talk to a live person they say they are from American Alert Services.  
Both of those companies do not exist via an internet search. Dial # back - does not exist.

Asked what is the difference between the 2 companies - he did not know, and really tried to keep things to script, which will not work and I can take them off script pretty quick and have fun while doing it.  Finally they get pissed and they hang up, and I block their Number.  They keep coming, if you can't beat them join them in having fun with them by wasting their time.

As stated above, this is just another scam trying to get personal info from senior citizens.
This time I played along and used their phone system to get to talk to the next person up the food chain who spoke better english and then I told that person to go F__K themselves and to take my phone number out of their A-HOLE system or I would continue to play their game so that each time they called I would be able to tell one of their call takers that they were F_CKING W***es working for F_CKING A-HOLES, and that I was giving them a promise not a threat. That person promptly apologized for the call, said they would take my number out of their system and apologized again for the call.

The ONLY purpose in the medic alert for seniors scammer's calls to us, is to get our credit card numbers, so they can cheat us!

Same as above, I am also a senior.  What a bunch of a***s these people are.

Caller id showed "NEIGHBOR" and the call came at least twice, perhaps even three times, while I was away from my desk; there was a message: "Sixty years or older..." I deleted immediately, because I recognized the robo-woman-voice from previous too many similar (but other numbers) calls.  This new, same I-D-10-T scammer's, number is now blocked (as are the previous ones).
BTW. we never answer calls from unknown numbers, especially out-of-area numbers.

They have been using different numbers,last week it was 845-363-5264.Same old BS.They will send you $3,000 in grocery coupons and a ID bracelet.All,they want is your information..Sure  I will give it out.Block these people.It doesn't matter I(F you are on the NDC list.You have to fill out the form to make it legal.Fill out the form time and everything and send it back,to the registry.

Received call at 6:17pm.  No message left.  Number blocked.

Got called by Neighbor - yeah, right. How annoying. Why are these clowns exempted from the Do Not Call list? Using Call Blocker Pro hardware now. See the caller id in the list, hit the blacklist button, last call from that number. Holds 1500 blacklisted numbers - yeah, that's a recommendation.

Recd call from this number today. I did not answer, but they did leave an automated voice message on my answering machine.
Very lengthy message, trying to sell something to senior citizens (which I am not).
My caller ID reads this number as "Neighbor" (give me a break). Once I saw that, I knew they were a bunch of crooks.

robo call with recorded message targeting seniors.

Was out when call came in. No message, same CID as Darrel. I became desperate, too many numbers to block with call blockers so I bought a hearing impaired telephone. No ring, just a blinking light when a call comes in. I can live with this much better than turning the ringer off. Some calls I don't want to miss and send to voicemail when they come in, Doctor, family, etc.

Caller ID as Neighbor, but with an out of area code.  Never answer unknown numbers - too many junk calls, scams or attempts to get information.

No message left.  Called back and auto attendant says press 1 to stop receiving promotions.
