Calls daily, various times. no message.

Says "Thanks From MOD" on caller ID. ???

Called twice within the last two days, but did not leave a message either time.

I believe it is the March of Dimes.

Not correct.  As of 2/08 the list is permanent.  See their home page at donotcall.gov

Just got this labeled as "Thanks From MOD", of course I don't answer.  Assume it is March of Dimes - nonprofits and political calls are exempt from DNC, by the way.

I had a neighbor who circulated the solicitation letter awhile back, I did put $10 cash in the envelope - don't know if call is related (I did not put my phone # on it), but that will be the last time I donate to March of Dimes.

These nonprofits & politicians just don't get it - people are on DNC for a reason - they don't want unsolicited calls from ANYONE!

I too have gotten multiple annoying calls from this number. I even tried reporting it to the FTC only to be told that I was not registered on the DNC list. But I had registered last September. Apparently the DNC list was designed to benefit the Telemarketing Organization because the FTC must turn over the list to Telemarketing orgs so they can "avoid calling those numbers" but what happens is they have agents working in the FTC who can erase your registration without your knowledge. So they have nothing to lose by calling you and more to gain even if some folks manage to sue them.

I too am getting calls from this number. If I answer, they hang up.. so what's the deal? I am on the "Do Not Call" list - so why bother posting my number there? Makes you wonder who has access, and why list myself on there when I am getting these calls as well as the "Extended Auto Warranty" and "Reduce your Credit Card Rates" calls as well.

Anything anyone knows to do?
I am a recovering cancer survivor and quite frankly I (nor does anyone else) need the aggravation!

This is a call from the March of Dimes in NY.  I have agreed to help & send out letters to folks in my neighborhood for the March of Dimes.  So I would like to stop recieving phone calls at the rate of 3 to 4 per day from this number.  This is on the verge of harassemnt.

Keeps on calling frequently!!

I also received frequent calls from 914-293-2739.  Never left messages, however, I received calls at the same time from the March of Dimes whose number comes in as 914-293-2736.  Sounds related.
