Caller ID shows "MOD"
Either someone who has a grudge against the real March of Dimes, or a phishing group trying to collect info from callbacks. Noone ever apparently gets a live person, either way, so it's obviously some fraud. Ignore it, block it, do NOT call back and hit any keys. First choice above may be working, as many say they will no longer support March of Dimes, even tho' all evidence would indicate these calls are NOT from them.

The March of Dimes is a charity.  Under the Do Not Call list law charities are still allowed to call.

Some phone companies, especially cell phone companies, will allow you to block calls from a specific number. Ask your phone company how.

Cell phones allow you to assign ring tones to your contacts.  If they are calling your phone put them in your contacts list and assign them the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".  That will send the calls to voicemail without interrupting you.

I WANT THE CALLS THAT ARE LISTED AS MOD TO STOP.  SEVERAL TIMES A DAY, AND I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.  HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS?  THEY MUST STOP!

I've been harassed countless times and want these calls to stop.

I told them via text what I thought. Indeed no answer just message saying to press any key for do not call. They must know how mad this makes folks. Even if I dial a wrong number...I leave a mess. Saying sorry, because I know how it feels. Bye. Text them back on your cell.at least it will let them know and help ya blow a bit of steam.

Keeps calling business number for debt relief.  Pressing #2 to remove from call list does not work.

People...you don't understand the do not call list.  Charities, political campaigns, and market research are EXEMPT from the law.  Call the FTC.  Call your priest.  Callyour Congressman.  It won't make a bit of difference.  If you politely ASK MOD to remove you from their list, they likely will.  (No, I don't work for them or a charity, political campaign or market researcher.  I just actually UNDERSTAND the laws I complain about, and don't begrudge legit organizations. Like the MOD from trying to raise money).

phone # used from march of dimes 914 294-4196 and 914 294-2421 to mail out 15 letters and i have to
supply postage.  This information was withheld at the first conversation when I agreed to deliver
their mail.  I am on the no call list and I am also living on limited income and I don't appreciate constant
harrasment from numeroeus silicitors.

This number calls our house every day. We called back today, and we pressed one....and then listened to what they said....we pressed 3....entered our phone number and it says they will take us off the list.

We've had three phone calls; I've submitted three complaints!

this number called today and I answered it and they made a guess as to who it was and they were correct, however they asked for my wife by name.  Of course I said she wasn't home and they hung up.  I called it back and YES it was the march of dimes.  I listened to "the more information" selection and it gave me the option to be removed.....of course I chose it.  They have my number anyway, but I put it in the do not call directory as it states the laws provide them with 30 days to cease calls, but they would do everything to cease within 2 to 3 days.  Hope it works.  Good luck to everyone else.

I have been receiving daily calls, sometimes twice a day, from 914-294-2508 from Healthy Babies. This morning I picked up the phone but as someone below previously reported, no one said anything and then the call was disconnected.  I am on the Michigan Do Not Call Registry and will be reporting this to the FTC.

Though caller ID said "Healthy Babies",  I'm sure it's another call with a different phone # for the March of Dimes.  They call daily from several different numbers.  Caller ID usually says MOD.  Never leaves a message.

I wouldn't donate to them any more under any circumstances.  I list them as a telemarketer due to the long-standing harassment.

They (March of Dimes) call me at least 2x a day--no one there, or no message left. I just called # back, got a recording "Thank you for calling the March of Dimes...sorry we missed your call.  I pushed the number for "more information", and after a little blurb about the MOD, was given the option of wanting them to call back by pressing 1 or to not be called again by pressing 2.  I pressed 2, let's see if that works.

I pick up and nobody is on the line- I have tried to call back it says sorry you have reached the March of Dimes.  I want them to put my name on their Do not Call list!

Receiving calls at different times of day from "Yonkers".  Different numbers 914-294-2543, 914-294-2224, 914-294-2395 have called 6 times in three recent days.   Tech support at our phone company called each number back and all of them had the March of Dimes answering message listed in earlier posts.

Keep getting calls frm march of dimes at all hours of the day. They need to stop. I am on the do not call list so how come theses calls keep coming through?

The caller, a lady, Health Babies, 914-294-2161 called daily in last few days. Now, she will stop calling me. We don't have new baby in house. I filed complainst here previously.

Very annoying get phone call one to two times a day, no one there when I answer. When I call the number it goes busy. I'm on the do not call list.

I just wish they would stop calling!  Every day, 3 times daily! And, I'm on the NO CALL list!

I have blocked this number on my phone, and they have called 11 times in 5 hours today alone. I have answered the phone before and asked them to take me off their list - yet they continue to call. How do we stop these people from making these calls when we have asked them to stop? They call all hours of the day and night. There is no way I would ever donate to them!

I received five calls from this number this morning.  My theory is that non profits sell your name to other non profit organizations.  I will no longer support any non profit through the mail.

This number is generating repeated calls to my home phone just minutes apart with no response when you answer.

These people call me several times every day. When I answer the phone there is no one there. I quit answering...but they keep calling! Stop it all ready!
