Got a call the same as Mike above.  That was a few weeks ago.  They just called again today.  Just sat the phone down without uttering a word  and they hung up immediately!

same here. No area code. Idiot with an Indian accent trying to tell me he's gotten reports from my computer. Hung up before he got a chance to sell me anything.

Just received a call from 1-725-2239. Same thing as others have posted - Indian accent man stating Windows has authorized him to assist us and that our computer has been sending them reports stating that something is wrong. I said which computer? He said your home computer? I said which one, give me identifying information. He couldn't. I said well this is rather odd because we don't have any windows based computers in this home and hung up after he persisted with the same story.

Just received the same phone call and they claim there is a problem with my computer, etc.

just got a call from these low life, Indian guy asking for my wife says he is from Microsoft and my computer is sending them a signal. i told him he was full of  sh&*!#@ that all of my computers are apple so what do you have to say about that !!!  he hung up, all i have to say is dont trust these assh!#@$ they are fishing for something, and yes if your the company calling and your reading this pull the dot off your head and shove it up your poop shoot, you may get more out of that than you will me or my wife.

Thanks, all for commenting and supplying the area code.  We had six calls in the last two days.  Very difficult-to-understand guy babbling about computer intrusions that he could fix.  Said we weren't interested a couple of times, said once that we had no computer . . . and the last time that we'd hand it over to the police if he didn't stop calling.  

No area code on mine either just 725-2239 Middle Eastern man with very broken English telling me that Microsoft Windows shows I'm having problems and they were authorized to help.  I told them I will call Microsoft direct and he should never call me again.  I then researched this number and see all of these posts.  

I feel bad for anyone that actually falls for this and gives out personal information.

Sick and tired of these MotherF****rs calling at all hours. Called our latest cable company and got an "anonymous block" put on her land land. Hope this stops soon! What a bunch of hokey BS!!

Next time say hold on a minute while I search for them.  Turn on an infomercial program or the shopping channel on cable on your TV and set the phone near the speaker. Come back in 5 minutes to see if they are still there and if they are tell them I searched the whole neighborhood and none of the neighbors have heard of him/her then hang up.

This number 725-2239 calls me all the time.  No area code.  It's always an Indian or middle eastern guy that can barely speak english.

I have received atleast 30 calls a week from this #725-2239 and evety time they ask for the person who had this # before I try to tell them that person doesn't have this # anymore they hang up and call back 15 minutes later

Got a call from these clowns but the number only said: 725-2239. They called three times in a row. Thank goodness my phone is blocked by Verizon. These low life's are rude, relentless, and wrong.
