The caller claimed to be with something called "Direct Buy", and said I was entered into their sweepstakes.  oh joy ...

Didn't answer and I'm glad I didn't it seems

I get a call from this number at least once a day.

The Caller ID said "Cell Phone" the lady sounded like an overseas call, said she was from Direct Buy. I asked in a very pleasant tone "would you please do me a favor?" She said yes and again in a very pleasant tone I replied "Please put me on your do not call list"
She said something like "how are you today- slipping back into reading her script, and I said in a neutral tone of voice, "what?" and she said "Yes I'll do that for you" (put me on their do not call list" and said goodbye.

I think I need to note the call, I've been getting more and more of these lately. Two calls I didn't answer today were both from the same company "market strategy" which folks here tell me is a survey of some sort, and said they would keep calling until I answered" And that survey, religious and companies one has done business with in the last 90 days are exempt. I checked and still have close to a month before my 90 days for do not call kicks in.

On 20 March 2013 received a call from this jerk while we were in church.  Like the other post I have never been on Craig's List to be mined.  I have had this cell phone number for eight years plus and get very few unwanted calls.  Like another post when I tried to return the call the message I received a message that "THIS IS NOT A VALID NUMBER.  PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER AND CALL BACK."  AFTER THREE ATTEMPTS TO BE SURE I HAD THE NUMBER CORRECT, NOTHING CHANGED.  WHEN I CALLED BACK ON MY CELL PHONE THE CALL WENT THROUGH BUT AS MY CELL PHONES SPEAKER IS BROKE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I COULD HAVE HEARD WHAT HE WAS SAYING.  VERY STRANGE AND SUSPICIOUS!

I don't usually open emails in my spam folder but this one today (same day but several hours before I got this phone call) got me.  It was an ad for Ultrasound degree.

Woman with heavy accent called and said I had won at least a 3-day trip somewhere or maybe $25,000.  It would only take 60-90 minutes of my time.  It's for couples only.  She was sad that I said I was single.  Tried to get me to ask a friend to join me.  After I thanked her and hung up, she immediately called me back.

This caller in a heavy accent says that he is the manager of direct buy "have you heard of us", My response was "have you head of no call (rude sob hung up before ) list was said. We need to write our legislators to impose heavyer penalties and persue these brats.

You need to file the report yourself.  Nobody reading this site can do that for you!

called left no message..not my area code..scammers get a life

I also received a call earlier this evening from this number. I am on DO NOT CALL list. I do not do craiglist so they did not get my number from it.  When  I  tried calling it back got recording " number or code you are dialing is incorrect".

Bogus caller who mines numbers off of craigslist.
