These people just called me today claiming they were from American legal Services & stated that if i don't pay them $850 or $400 today that they will arrest me tomorrow. They told me to fax my credit card info to them & a copy of my drivers license & wanted my social security number on it too. She said her name was Jenny Johnson & her fax number is 206-202-0468. She stated they have me for fraud violation blah blah blah. I called number back some guy answered American legal services i said who?? he stated "who the hell is this".  Now when I call back it states the magic jack customer your calling is unavailable leave a message.

I received a phone call from this place. When I started to question the "REP" He transferred me to "Jenny Johnson" the Attorney! When I again confronted her as to who they were and what debt I "owed" she stated that if I did not pay I would be arrested by the Sheriff in the morning and hung up! I called back to the number she gave me and spoke with another "rep" and when I confronted him as to what this debt was and who did I owe it too, he became flustered and could not answer any of my questions and said "Jenny Johnson" was at the court turning in papers and he could not help me. He then hung up. When I tried to call back many times they blocked my number. After trying again I did get through and I could here them in the back ground telling each other I had called again and hung up. I think I will continue to pester them until they quit pestering me with their SCAM!!!!

These people are scam artists.  Report them to the New York Attorney General's office -- that's the state they work from.  What they are doing is not legal.

917-310-7036 kept calling my cell and claiming to be American Legal Services. The real American Legal Services web site states that this is a scam: "There is currently an offshore scam. These scammers claim to be from American Legal Services. They call people telling them that they must send money today or they will be arrested tomorrow. If you are called by these people, do not give them credit card or any other numbers. Get the address they want you to send the money to, then call your local F.B.I. and report them immediately." - www.americanlegalservices.com

I hope this helps others. Please do not ever convey your credit card, bank, social security number, or any other personal information to unknown individuals...ever!
