Got a call from this, no message

Based upon reports from other sites, I assume these are the same scammers who are using made-up phone numbers and actually calling via Skype. They have been doing this for months now. I don't remember the name of the company that they stated they were when I picked up months ago, but they continued to call using other made-up phone numbers. I then reported them to the Florida State Attorney General's office, and suddenly the calls stopped. If they are "selling solar panels" then I assume it is the same company. And they are a nasty, belligerent, smart-aleck bunch! They claim they are "working with Progress Energy" to "perform free energy audits." The fact is .. Progress Energy has NOTHING to do with these scammers, and PE will do their own free energy audits.

I would suggest anyone getting harassed by these losers to contact the Florida State Attorney General's office, and then to the FCC. They are violating Federal telecommunications laws and they should be LOCKED UP!

same as above...scam for energy...says they are red sun energy???The person was stunned I answered and sounded like they made up a name.... Lies...cell phone out of New York selling solar...lies....calls all the time, same speel..told to stop and blocked number but they just roll into another number. So sad that these people keep doing this and get away with type of sales harrasment....some come from a Nevada exchange and some are out of South Forida...all lies! They always say "you are not interesed in saving money? My answer to them is: hahahhahaha!!! yes I am, that is why I am hanging up and blocking you again!!!!

Calls not answered from above. many calls that are annoying.

When I finally answered a call from this number, the man said that he represented Red Sun Energy and sold solar panels. I agreed to an appointment in two days but after reading these messages above think it is not a good idea.  However, when I call back the above number to cancel, it will not go through.  Not sure what to do, other than not be home when they come or not answer the door.

These rude, crude and mentally deficient phone morons bothered me for months.  I chose to pick up the phone and fight them, but that's when they win.  They feel powerful when you answer their calls.  They think that they are in control when you do and they probably make money for it, so DON'T DO IT!!!  They are really the weakest and lowest form of life on the planet.  Think about it, they are phone solicitors, breaking the law, and the very people that the entire universe loathes and is trying to stop!!!  

I have caller ID and other call filtering services and I decided to let these brainless wimps know that they have no power over me whatsoever.  To do that, I simply don't answer any calls when caller ID says "name unavailable".  Believe me, when you stop answering their calls, they will stop calling you.  You don't have to report them to anyone.  We all know they are stupid and pathetic, so why give them the time of day, let alone waste your time on the phone with them.  They accomplish nothing, they create nothing, and they are nothing.  Why would you want to talk to that kind of waste of humanity???

Over and over this prick keeps calling me. I think I will have an appointment made and then have them arrested for harrasment and stalking.

These guys are calling several times a day now. They don't leave messages. I've told them in the past to take me off the call list.

always calling - as I see on my caller ID.  Never left a message, but I am glad others are reporting this number.  Thanks to all who have left remarks - it is helpful to know it isn't a family member who is shy to leave a message.

I got a call from from 917-346-5081 asking to speak with a Jackie Owens, I told the male voice hat no one lives here by that name and he hang up. I then did a reverse phone look up and came to this site.

Reported to the DA in Orlando FL.  Not sure what will come of it...  Really annoyed that they have my cell number which is on a DO NOT CALL LIST that all telemarketers should have.....  I think if they call again, I will have them come to my house so I can give them a lesson in telemarking manners.  I will make sure the DA is with me also...

This evening I got a call from this number asking for me or my husband. I didn't recognize the number and asked the guy if he wanted to leave a message. He insisted on finding out when the homeowner-our first name, would be available. When I told him I didn't know, he got pissed and hung up. What the hell

THIS NUMBER IS THEE BIGGEST ANNOYANCE EVER! THEY CALLED 10 TIMES IN A ROW TODAY AFTER I REPEATEDLY TOLD HIM THAT I WAS NOT INTERESTED. THEY WERE TRYING TO SELL MY A SOLAR POWERED HOT WATER HEATER (AS THE PERSON ABOVE SAID). WHEN I TOLD HIM I WAS NOT INTERESTED, HE WENT ON TO TELL ME HE WILL CALL BACK IN 10 MINUTES TO SEE IF I'D CHANGED MY MIND, AND 10 MINUTES LATER HE CALLED AGAIN AND WHEN I DIDN'T ANSWER HE LEFT ME A CHILLING MESSAGE, JUST BREATHING HEAVILY. IT WAS CREEPY! I WISH THERE WAS SOMEWAY TO REPORT THIS BECAUSE HE IS REALLY CROSSING THE LINE BETWEEN A TELEMARKETER TO BEING A STALKER!

got a call on my land line, couldn't find the phone and it went to voice mail, the message was someone whispering "pick it up pick it up pick it up" they called back a few minutes later and i picked up, guy wanted to sell me a solar hot water and asked if i knew that i could get up to $4000 from the gov't if i switched from a conventional to solar hot water heater. i said the best thing you can do for me is take me off your list. <click>

Called & hung up on me.  I called back twice.  First time, I heard a breather.  2nd time, I got this message:  "The subscriber you have called is not receiving calls at this time"
