The phone call came early in the morning west coast time and after I answered the phone, the caller stated that it was from an online survey I participated in (I had not given my number out for a phone survey). When I told them I never completed an online survey the asian male sounding voice went silent. I hung up the phone. After doing some online research to determine the origin of the 917 area code, I discovered the call came from the New York city area.

I had a great conversation with this "person."
Me: (I pick up the phone and wait like I usually do about 5 seconds saying nothing.) "Yeah!?"
The caller: Silence (now I know its a computer.) More silence...
Me: (I wait in silence.)
The caller: This is about you working online...
Me: (I interrupt) Oh is it? What is it you're calling me about?
The caller: (more silence... obviously this thing is processing hard!)
The caller: (With suspicious recorded sound to the voice.) We just need to ask you a couple of questions to see if you qualify...
Me: (I interrupt again) Oh are you a computer or a real person, you sound like a computer!
The caller: (Lots of silence....) No....
Me: Ha! (and I hang up.)

I have received calls from this number almost every day for about 2 weeks. I finally answered the phone and they said it was from an online survey i participated in (I have not given my number out). When I asked to have my number removed from their list they hung up on me.

This number has called my phone a few times before. I answered and they hung up. I called back and they saying they are a company of employment opportunity or something like that. I just want that number to stop calling my phone.

I have been getting calls from this number for several days. Whenever I pickup there is no one there. They never leave a message but when you call the number back they have the trap all set. The entire thing is s voice activated setup. It is recorded to simulate a "live" operator. If you answer any one of his questions with a nonsense answer he carries on as if you've answered him correctly. Eventually you are connected to a live person who is in some ridiculous phone bank somewhere in Orlando, Florida trying to get you to give them money to help you get a degree. I've reported them to the Federal Trade Commission.

Just got a call from the same do***ebag! said he needed to verify some information to see if i was qualified for certain jobs. I asked how he got my name and then he hung up abruptly. He was useless AND rude!

Received a call today and a man's voice stated the following:
"We have records that you were interested in seeking employment opportunities" ... some references were made to an online survey for a Walmart purchase, and he wanted to verify some personal information!!!!!!!!!!
Hung up on him ...

Yeah got a call from this number at 3.39 PM although the number could be a spoof. A male voice (sounded gay) mumbled something about me signing up online for a walmart card. Never did. Then he offered a job or an ipad and hung up while I was saying please take me off your list.

just received a phone call from this number ....its BSz .... called back .... the recording states that while YOU meaning any one of us ....were " online " WE indicated that WE were interested in seeking employment opportunities .... DO NOT press # 9 keypad for then SURELY !!!! they will have valid proof of YOUR phone number ....then as all telemarketers do .... sell your number to other marketers .... just IGNORE !!!! ciao amigos
