This number just started calling me. It come up on CID as: "STORYSTORE". I never answer,just let it go to voice mail...they never leave any mesage.

So sorry to hear about your wife. It is disgusting they do that to you.They should be shut down.I try not to answer my phone unless I recognize the number. I let the answering machine pick up. They dont call anymore.

These people called me & started to talk about how I need more prescription medicine.When I told the woman I am not on any medication she started screaming & cursing at me & would not stop so I hung up.She told me to go "f...." myself.

I get at least 2-3 phone calls  A DAY from these jokers, via several different phone numbers.  I never pick up, but that doesn't seem to deter them at all.   The one time I did pick up, I told them the person they were asking for is dead -- poisoned by the drugs the jokers were trying to sell.  There was a long silence, then an apology, and then a hang up.  I've never gotten called by that number again, but it doesn't matter, because they have so many different numbers to use.

I do not pay for a phone line so I can be constantly harrassed by drug pushers.  Foreign country or not, the FCC can surely change the rules if they were so inclined.

Some of you are right and some are not sure. Either way, I am convinced they are asian marketeers for an internet front called Canadian Pharmacy. NOT CANADIAN AT ALL!!! They go by many names, but if you do business with them they are selling asian spinoffs of american pharms. Once you contact them, they are worse than cockroaches and the calls will multiply. I get them less frequently since I have blocked a dozen or so of their mulititude of calling numbers, and NEVER, NEVER answer the phone. It just tells the roaches that there is still food for them out there. And don't fool yourself, there is no such thing as a DO NOT CALL list. I've been subscribed for years with absolutely NO and I mean NO justice. Be prudent and use your heads. Don't answer any phone number you don't recognize. If they are friends, they will leave a message.

Unfortunately, this area code is the main area code for New York City cell phones.

Do the same to them.....Dial *67 (blocks your number to them)then dial their number.  When they answer put the phone next to the radio or tv....DO NOT TALK.  When they hang up immediately call them again, and again and again and again......it ties up their line and it pisses them off.  It is like Robo calling, doing on your cell phone is quick just pull up the # and push the call button. Do it like ten times and continue again.  If evryone reading this did it 10 times imagine how we could tie their line up.  If they change number no problem....when they call you with a new number start your calls again!!!!

have been receiving calls for a few weks now from 917-595-4864.  Wish there were some way to block these calls.  Seems like such a simple task for a cell phone to do....but can't.

I actually save all these bogus caller numbers in my blackberry  phone as "contacts" in outlook. Then I name them as "SPAM".  Then set phone with 0 volume ringer.  If I see SPAM on phone, I don't answer.

I get a call almost daily from 917-595-4864...I made the mistake of answering a couple of times..It's an online pharmacy..The voice sounded foreign..I think they are a Canadian based pharmacy that sells online drugs....Mainly a site to buy Viagra...Even though I am on the do not call list, they attempt to call me nearly daily, and sometimes from other numbers..I almost never answer calls unless they are from people I know and want to talk to, but I have answered the pharmacy's call by mistake, and I don't even give them time to start their sales pitch...

They use Skype and other tricks to hide their identity and make it virtually impossible for the FCC to trace.

Obviously, since they are off shore, the DO NOT CALL LIST is useless.

I've been tracking these calls for several years and this is one of the more aggressive telemarketers -- averaging two calls per week over the last nine days when I received the first call from this new number using caller ID "New York NY".

In February they were using 786-228-5349 and caller ID "BK Agencie".

In January they were using 224-623-8271 and caller ID "Algonquin   IL".

Online Pharmacy that I ordered from 6 years ago!

LOL get them all the time, if I am not busy I keep the on the line asking dumb questions over and over, can you repeat that lol.   I try to see how long I can keep it going. Seems to work, fewer calls.

They keep calling from different numbers, same Pharmacy from India.

This pharmacy has harassed me for years.

I have 27 different numbers for these idiots. When i first tried to call back says number disconnected. Finally on the fourth call one day i told them i registeted my cell with the do no call list and i would be reporting them. It didnt stop contacted fcc said nothing they can done they are out of usa using internet portal to make calls snd cant locate cause they use cells and unable to call them. Every weekend on Saturday and Sunday evenings I get calls from these sleazeball counterfeit drug pushers. I have stopped answering the calls.

I called back...placed on hold, then got transfered, the sob who answered ask me if I'm somebody, a name I dont know. He tried to say like, if you're not him then we did'nt call you. etc;
I keep asking his name but he kept giving me the same story, won't tell me anything. So I screamed at him, he hung up...a scum bag!!!

I believe this # 917 595 4864 is a NY number, which re-transfer calls to another offshore number, an online pharmacy in india.
