Just received a text message from 9250@vtext.com.   The message said to "Call 3055736665
Old Point NB". I suspect this is the same scam. I don't have an account with that bank and never have. Vtext. Com is the extension used for a text message sent from a email account.  Just a heads up that the scam may be surfacing again. Most of the posts that I saw were from Nov 2012.

It scares me.
The '0' in FedCh0ise really is printed as a zero not an O

i got a text  from the same number saying urgent notice from fedchoice  f.c.u! please call us at ; 9193679250 to update you billing records i dont know who the hell they are i dont have know act. with the people i dont got  no atm cards ether this is a scam !!!!!

Security company Cloudmark created a spam messaging reporting service that nation?s major wireless carriers agreed earlier this year to start using. Now, customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that?s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.

Got the same text  said something about from the Tresury Departmwent FCU, Office of AttorneyGeneral  .. said investigating individuals' use of fraudulent Treasury and the same phone number to contct for more info ...

I got one of these from 3 different numbers. When i called the number, i was automatically forwarded to the local 911 center in my area!!! Now the two numbers are nothing alike.

Rec'd a text last night stating - Your FedChoice-checking account statement contains an error.  Please call 1-(919)-367-9250 to reactivate your Credit Union Visa Debit Card.".  Received one in English then again in Spanish.

Just got a text wIth thIs message.  

"The Treasury Department FCU, Office of Inspector General,

investigates individuals' use of fraudulent Treasury. Call 1-

9193679250 for more details."

Yup, just got that message, too.  It looks like they're using a messaging thing on Verizon's website.

Got a text @9:57 pm tonight that said: You're an idiot ... call me 919-367-9250

Maybe it means "you're an idiot" in a foreign language, like several other people got in English?  (I'm not trying to imply anyone here is an idiot, mind you!)

Also received a message that said "Sa va bag pla in gatCall 9193679250"

They also called me with that Sa Va Bag.... txt message.

I also got a text saying

I got nervous cuz i ordered christmas stuff on-line! I thought it might be the site i ordered from...but it wasnt! I called & checked! Very scary!!!!

I got mine in Spanish.

I also just received a text that says "You're an idiot...call me" followed by the phone number. Not sure why my phone is starting to get these odd random texts all of a sudden. This is the first from this number.

I am registered on the national do not call registry.  I filed a complaint there against this number and I also filed a complaint directly with the FCC.  I also blocked this number from sending me any more messages directly with my wireless provider.  I recommend anyone else do the same.  

As for the scum bags running this idiotic, unethical scam...I would be ashamed of myself and my life if I were you.  You are wasting the precious time and resources that we have on the earth.  Congrats on the crappy legacy you leave behind of making the world a little worse off than the way you found it

also got a text from this number, text said to call number back "to remove restrictions placed on your FedCh0ise ATM Debit Card." DID NOT return text and would advise anyone else not to as well, most likely a SCAM or VIRUS!!

received a text message from this number advising me to call to have restrictions removed from my FedChose ATM Card.    Since I don't have an ATM card with a company called FedChoise or FedChoice, I am wary and don't want to return the call or even acknowledge the message for fear of virus, scams, etc.
