Yea if your Verizon wireless then just send a text to the #  8888 and in the text type b 9195940001
make sure to put a space in between the letter b and the number.  Then to unblock a number send the same text to 8888 then type ub 9195940001   I got 1 message that said hi and 1 with a symbol that was from the 9195940001 and a 9195940004 both within a minute and one was disconnected and the other was a girl voice mail named nikki or nicole.

I get several texts a week with just 1 or 2 random symbols as the message. Very annoying. Is there a way to block phone numbers from texting?

they contine to call me and not be there when i answer...also they text me like 10 times a day!!!! it drives me crazy!
