Suddenly got a call from this #  & I found this link when I typed # in to trace!  I'm on the 'Do Not Call List'  --

This number is calling and not saying nothing

This number just called me on my work phone.  No one said anything, there was just silence I wrote down the number and Googled it and got this website.  

Blaine called me on my work phone several weeks ago and I told him that it is against the law to call and harass me at work, his reply was that he called my home phone, but no one answered, I then replied we we were not home and that maybe if he left a message he would get a return call, he did leave a message the next time he called, but I did not call him back (really you think I am going to call you back re: an old debt), so he called my work phone  again, this time I was not so nice about him about calling me at work and then I hung up on him.  THIS COMPANY BETTER NOT CALL ME AT WORK AGAIN!!

I received this message. I know it's about my dad's recent medical bill. Everything has been paid through the types of insurance he has. I don't know why they are calling. I do hope they stop now that I know who/ what the phone call is about so I'm not going to answer the phone.

Well, they failed to follow my cease and desist letter, TWICE now and I have a lawsuit against them.  Two times since I have received my certified receipt of letter with proof that I never owed a penny have they harrassed me.  Don't you get $1000 per harassment attempt by law when there is evidence?  I do have an attorney firm on them and I'm going after them for every penny I can get from these rude people.  By the way, the FTC said they no longer go by Absolute Collection Services, as that was put out of business.  They now go by Revenue Cycle Solutions.

Automated call for John Marsh, who doesn't live here. Said to push "0" for the message, so I did. It rang for a few mins until finally disconnected.

This has been going on for weeks now.  Absolute Collection Services is trying to collect a medical debt that I have already paid IN FULL to the actual creditor.  In fact, they didn't even include the adjustments made by my insurance company, so they were asking for MORE than I owed.  I contacted my creditor and spoke w/ 3 people who SWORE they never reported me bc I was not delinquent.  Now they have it in the Review Dept and I am waiting on a call back.

ACS contacted me again at 8am this morning, this time threateningly. Said they were recording the call in an attempt to collect a debt, and I responded that I was recording the call in an attempt to get them off my tail.  Although the last person said they would never ruin my credit this person said they would. I told them I've already paid in full to who I owed and they said I need to prove it.  Well, I wont receive a receipt for a few weeks, and why should I prove something that was their miscommunication.  They want a copy of my bank statement--ABSOLUTELY NOT. And they claim not to have an email that I can send my receipt to, that I must mail it.  I think not--not wasting the cost of a stamp for something I don't owe since they've already burned at least 40 of my Verizon minutes.   They then said that If I did pay my creditor, then my creditor owes them that money. WHATTT?????  I'm hoping for a resolution today because my acct with the creditor has a 0 balance.  I have no idea how they got my information.  

However, I did report this agency to the FTC, 877-382-4357, and I suggest if you are getting harrassed, please report to the FTC.  They investigate these trends on these sharks and they also said they are NOT supposed to threaten you.  You do have rights--research them.

They also go by the name RCS (Revenue Cycle Specialists or Services or something)

Report them to the FTC like I did.  877-382-4357.  They investigate these type of trends.  I'm about to send ABS a bill for my verizon account bc they keep burning my minutes.  But they are not supposed to threaten you.  You can also send a certified cease and desist letter (get it off the internet), and if they contact you again you can sue them for harassment.  The Fair Debt Collection Act is very strict on these things and gives consumers rights against this.  You would win in court and they'd have to pay you.  I know someone who got so tired of these sharks that they did this, took them all to court and came out with around $3000 for the harassment.

Forgot to mention, they also go by the name of RCS (Revenue Cycle Services).  And each person you speak to will contradict what another said.  Just go ahead and report them.

Rec'd auto message for unknown person. Called number back explained they were calling a bussiness and removed from list. Apologized for their misttake.

Rec'd call from 9197553900 showed "private cal" Yes, cal-not call. Can't spell? I don't know, but seems to fit the debt collector MO. Do "people" like this actually think they're going to collect $$ from someone using these tactics? There is always a lag if you do answer between the time you say hello till they actually say something. Auto-dialer obviously...maybe multi-dialing going on trying to get someone to pick up. Never answer them...they will not respond in a humane way. Arrogant, ignorant, rude, crude, well, you get the idea. Just because someone gets in debt, does not make them a lesser person or give the creditors the right to treat you like a third class citizen. Banks got in over their heads and guess what? They got bailed out. How many of us in debt have had that opportunity? Bankruptcy is probably the closest thing to getting bailed out. But you have to live with that the rest of your life. Not just the ten years on yoiur credit report. It is demeaning and an "event" that haunts you forever. No sympathy here for the lender; the debtors like me have no recourse. Sad.

Same here, it was a hospital bill that I paid off over a year ago and hospital confirms no debt or collection activity.

I can't believe people are still calling from this number with the same scam- insisting they are a collection agency. Anyone know how to stop these calls?

On No call list.  They still call.  Cussed them out and they still call.  Got a name for them in the South but too Southern to put it in writing.

Absolute Collection Service has called our house phone 12 times in the last 3 weeks asking to speak to someone we don't even know.  We have asked an attorney to take care of these sleazebags.

Absolute Collection Svc Inc is who the number is. they called and said they had something important to discuss with me but I sat there for a good 5 minutes with it ringing and then heard someone hang up on the other end! RUDE!

Keep getting calls from 755-3900.  I have had my cell number for just a few weeks and they keep calling for the previous person who had this cell.....I have asked them several times to remove the number and they keep calling.  As far as I am concerned this is a form of harassment.  
Something needs to be done with the collection agency who keep harassing in innocent people.  When you tell them they have the wrong number…they should STOP CALLING!!!

You know what.....Give me there home number and let me call them ALL HOURS of the DAY and NIGHT and lets see how they like it.

I was receiving calls from this number for about 4 months. Finally I called them and explained the person they were asking for no longer lived there and I haven't had a call since.
