Auto call

Federal Grant scam is a scam wherein unsuspecting citizens receive a phone call informing them that they are amongst the very few who have been selected for a government grant. Scammers and fraudsters operating such federal grant scams or government grant scams assure the ?prospective receivers? that the grant is free and does not need to be paid back. At this point many of us would suspect something fishy and would back out, but there are some who do fall for such federal grant scams. Those who have fallen prey to such federal grant scams inform that their bank account information was acquired so as to facilitate the transfer of the ?government grant? into their bank accounts. The next thing was pretty much obvious with the bank accounts being wiped out clean by these federal grant scammers.

This company will wipe you clean.

NO ANYTHING WHEN CALLED-  CALLED 3 TIMES WITH BARRY MATTHEWS ON THE CALLER I.D. I CALL IT BACK AND IT IS NO A WORKING NUMBER.

got a call yesterday 3 times. i told them they had the wrong number and still continue to ask questions. i told them that I'm not interested and they asked do you still own a visa or master card, because i have been entered into a sweepstakes. i knew this wasn't true, so i decide to search and see who does this number belong to. i see a lot of you have this same problem with this number. thanks for the info

I got a call like around 5 or 6 not sure. They said the same thing to me about $2500, winning a mustang, or a trip to i don't remember where.  They said there some sweepstakes place.

But when i called back i get a message saying "The number you dialed is not a working number"

They did ask for info but didn't give out SS when they asked.

Not sure if its for real cause I did fill out some survey when i was downloading an application.
What can you do??

This number has called my bf 3 times today hang up everytime he answers and is non working nmber when he calls it back

Called me twice today 6:53 PM and 12:15 PM. No Message, They must of got tired of calling girls now they are calling boys.:)

some lady with a heavy indian accent told me I was entered into some type of visa/mastercard sweepstakes and wanted to verify information, she also had my address which was creepy...I ended up hanging up. This is the 3rd time in two days I have been called by this number, first time I have answered it.

just called me and c alled me earlier too. called back and its not a workin number..

I did do some stupid survey a day ago on Facebook.
The must have got my number.
Great. Stupid me.

I'll just ignore it, and if it persists I'll try some thing more drastic.

It sunded like a telemarketer, the woman on the phone sounded like it was the very first phone call she was making with that company, her words were very broken and she sounded very nervous, altho she had an American accent.

oh it mist be from a contest i did enter for a visa or master card by filling out surveys thats what it could be from did any of u enter something like that maybe for a jonas thats what i did and ended up being signed up to win something else .....

He called back again and hung up as soon as i picked up.
If any of the places i got applications from sold my number I'm going to be pissed.
I live in WA and this number is from North Carolina.
If its some scam and he tries to get my credit card number I'm calling the cops.

Dis number called me 4 times and its getting on my nervous

SO i got a call today as well at 9:24am. I was rather pissed off to be honest. I was sleeping! I didnt answer the phone but i typed this number in the google search and found all of you guys talking about it. I tried to call it just now, and it said this is not a working number please check the number and dial again. That's bs! ok- weird!

That number just called my cell ten minutes ago. I rejected the call...then when I called back got the same message.

Calls our cell phones, we call them and it is supposeably non working.

Very annoying.

Called me 4 times today. Hangs up when i answer. I called the number back as well. Same response. "this numbers not a working number"

Caller ID shows the name Matthews Barry.

They called my cell twice without leaving voicemail, so i answered the response was 'hello, a woman claiming to be your mother is dead in our morgue.'  ok whatever how the hell can a dead woman be claiming to be anyones mother while she's laying lifeless in a morgue?    So once i brought this fact to the males attention the idiot hung up.

They called and when i answered they hung up

this is a scam. they ask personal info and tell you you've been entered into a visa and master card sweapstakes.

must be a telemarketer.
i have no idea.

I got 2 calls within an hour of each other.  And yes I find it very strange that we are all females
