Got a call from this number. The caller did not leave any message.

No name came up on caller I.D., but caller left a message--it's political, Republican to be exact. Caller identified herself as "Amanda" and said she was calling on behalf of Jeff Miller (he's running for election in NC). It name-drops Richard Burr and says they want to "get America back on the right track". That would be the straight, white, conservative hypocritical track. Sorry, no sale. On the up side, you've gotten me interested in voting for your opposition.

I am so sick of them calling me. Its Saturday and they are calling......I requested for them to lose my number!

They called claiming to be a survey. They asked if I approve or disapprove of President Obama. When I said approve, they hung up.

Yes, this number is, in fact, paid for by the NC Republican Party's "Volunteer for Victory Campaign" . It was a call from a district person in the Charlotte area telling why she is supporting Richard Burr.  All I needed to hear was his name and I erased the message and proceeded to call the director of this initiative in Raleigh and told him that they had better not bother me with another of their phone calls the rest of this election season.

I didn't answer the phone after reading these comments.  Thanks.

My viewpoint is both parties are spending us to oblivion.  I will write my own name in since nobody dares suggest balancing the federal budget in ONE year.  Yes, it CAN be done.  We just have to stop depending on government for everything and take care of each other.  We generally can do a better job.  Oh, and the best answer to these political calls is say you voted early and wrote your name in for that very reason.
