I got sick of getting calls from these people so I filed a complaint with the BBB, my number has been removed from their list. Here is the response:

RECEIVE BUSINESS RESPONSE : I found the cell number listed on this complaint on another account in our files and removed that number. It has been placed on our "do not call" list. If another call is received by Mr. Xxxx, I would appreciate a call at 919-863-4973 and will search our files again.

this phone number has called me like 10 times today

I am not sure who it is ... when answered no one responds.

I am like you guys.  Right number, wrong person!  It is Absolute Collection Agency in Raleigh, NC.  Call 919-755-3900 and ask them to remove your number.  Keep calling if you have to!

I have received calls from this number asking for someone I have never heard of.  I called one time and told someone that they had a wrong number and they said they would remove my number.  Well, I am still getting these calls on my cell phone which is using up my minutes.  I wish there was some way to stop these people from calling.

I've received a lot of calling without response from the same Italian number (*39 0689). May it be a sort of tel spam ???

This number comes in all the time and it's getting more than annoying

They call me and leave a message saying if this is ....... please stay on the line i do and then they leave their "business" hours i try to call them back and its either busy or it just rings and rings. the one time i did answer they said i had a outstanding balance of $... and that i needed to play it, they asked me to verify my address and my date of birthday then said they insist that i pay it now and i said i dont know what your talking about and they said we've sent you 5 bills and i'm putting this on your credit as we speak and hung up on me.... what gives, who are these people.

These people need to be reported! They call & don't leave a message. When I call back, no one answers the phone. Have called them back several times and NO ONE answers!!!!

Call 2-3 times a day and say if you are HEIDI #### please press 0, when you do that they hang up. Annoying and making me angry!!

These crazy people keep calling for the wrong person! They call at the most inconvenient times and it really pisses me off that they keep calling after I've already told them on 6 different calls that the person in question no longer had this number but that doesn't seem to make a difference! I just want it to stop!

Try calling Absolute Collection Agency in Raleigh, NC and have them remove your number if it is not you.
You can also call the Attorney General of North Carolina and report that these people are calling you and not talking or leaving messages.  It could be that these guys are not following laws/rules on best business practices.

They keep calling my cellphone with a machine that says if you rae XXX please stay on stay onthe line if you are not xxxx please hang up.  I hang up and they keep calling my number over and over with the same message.  The name the mention is not for me it is for someone else.

Calls frequently, never answers, never leaves messages. Caller unknown, purpose unknown, response impossible. This constitutes harrassment, if this is a creditor, they should read the S.C. statutes on Fair Credit Practices.

Called 10 times in a single hour! whats the Government doing?

Presumably Absolute Collection Service. I get a call daily at about 5:00-5:30 pm, and no one is on the other end. One time, they asked for my brother-in-law, who has the same initial and last name as my husband. The calls with no one on the other end are extremely annoying though, especially during our dinner hour.
