This guy started calling my daughter.  One day he asked her to marry him.  He told us to go look at this property he wanted to buy.  We did and haven't heard from him since.  Just want to know who this guy really is.  Doesn't sound legit, and the realitor wants to know what gives.  That what we want to know, who is this guy.

OMG I just received two phone call today, this guy told me to contact Froid Kein at 919-912-9535, I could'n really understand what he was saying (mentioned, reports, police, charges against me) but anyways I am afraid because I did apply for a cash advance loan that I received on Friday, I applied with different companies and now I'm afraid that one of those could have been a scam. What do I do?

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

This number called me twice. Who was it?

These individuals have called my wife's phone a few times.  They state that charges are being brought for money laundry.  After several conversations; I took the phone from my wife.  I got the information and just led him on.  I did a reverse phone contact as well as better business bureau.  I have contacted the police and they said they would pass it along.  He told me to purchase a green dot money card and fax the receipt to this number (866) 686-9479.  The individual that I spoke with said that his name was Roy King.  He was working in conjunction with the government and that he was giving me a call in hopes that we could resolve this matter before the actual charges were levied.

This number has called me 3x's during the past 2 days. Left 2 messages on my phone that I had to get ahold of them because it was a time sensitive matter. They got really mad because I told them that every word they spoke was being recorded on my phone and that it was going to the Attrny., General for their review. hung up on me.

They called me to ! Today twice I reported them to the FTC it's a scam I work with a pay day loan company and I've never had one they said I owe on a pay day loan for 5,000 and that I will go to jail that's a lie report this number please these people are very rude and obviously stupid

I received the same calls about the same time. The said they are from Cash Advance USA and that I need a lawyer and that I comiited a crime with fraud check and that police will be involved. They called my house like 5 times a day. I saw on scambook.com that someone else si going through the same thing. I need some assistance as well. They have all my info and its really creepy.

The telephone calls began on 10/05/2012 @ 7:30 A.M.

The caller is very rude, and demanding in his tone and message.

He states that I need to be aware of judgements which have been awarded against me and that I need to act fast

He would not give me his name or the name of the company he is working for.

The calls have not stopped.  

Today, the caller began contacting me at work.  I again attempted to get his name and telephone number, to no

avail.  

The first call came from 502-235-5100 and the second call came from 919-912-9535.  

Any assistance you can provide in this matter will be greatly appreciated, this person is extremely aggressive

and hostile in his demeanor.
