Received a call today from the (925) 235-1158.  I returns the call with no answer.  I will make sure to report and block this number.

Received a call from this number this morning.  I never answer if I suspect a scam.  If it is a legit caller they will leave a message or call back.  So tired of the endless harrassment.  Also I will never donate to any phone caller.  I pick my own charities and initiate the donation.  You just can't trust anyone anymore.

Go figure just another creepy scammer preying on those who want to give their hard earned $$$, to god knows whom for only god know what while using what apparently looks like an organization in law enforcement ! Let's hope this will bite all those associated will soon get their well deserved donations... And let them rot in the bed they have made for themselves!

These scumbags called again today. I answered, and after some delays, got a harsh sounding male voice mentioning something about "the Benevolent Order ... for training purposes the call is recorded" (yes, that certainly makes the call genuine)

I get calls from this number to! I just called it back and a recording came on and said they were busy assisting other patrons or were closed, haha what a joke, im going to get on my page and block their number, they never speak or leave a msg. on my ans. machine, its definitely a telemarketer of some kind!! Stay safe people :) The called ID that comes up on my phone is as such: V62915562000080 925-235-1159 , THIS is the first time ever that a number like that has shown up on my called ID, wow I wonder what that means???

with this Phone number shows up as "Moraga, CA" mentioned he was Eric Thorton, or Erik" and fundraising for Police and those affected by Trauma...googled and it shows similar scam in Glendora...remember, don't give out any information to people who CALL YOU! Hand up, and you call your bank, or creditors or go in person. Take as much information as you can and report these scammers to your local authorities so they can put on the NEWS, and create awareness!!

10 ways to avoid financial scams

8. Consider letting a trusted professional adviser or family member get a duplicate copy of your monthly bank statement so another set of eyes is checking your account for suspicious withdrawals.

  The  number 925-235-1159  is called from Broadwing Communications of Moraga California currently on switch number SNFECALNOSO .   I hope they stop bothering people.

This guy has called my home number 5 times in a week. I just called him and informed him if he called again that I would begin an attack on this number. Just to make sure he understood, I gave him a taste of what he could look forward to.
It's a very simple method. Using Fax and Communication software just create a word document, choose print, change to fax document, set the fax configuration to retry every minute, how many times to retry and hit send.
The software will continally try to fax the word document until it connects to a fax machine. since none exists it will continally call the number. They answer the call, fax beeps, tries to connect, they hang up, a minute later fax retries, etc etc etc etc etc etc......
Telemarketers deserve a little taste of their own medicine to moderate their behavior

Been getting calls from this number. Have not answered, they leave no message on the machine.

The call was very full of static and broken up. I could barely hear him. Fraternal Order of something, and the reason why I'm calling Ma'am is... I interrupted him and told him, "No thank you. Don't call us again." and hung up on him.

I have family & friends in law enforcement, they all say these calls are scammers and to hang up on them.

This person keeps calling about once a day for awhile now.

I received this call last week and also a few minutes ago. As soon as I told him I work in law enforcement he hung up on me..Gee, wonder why?  I am going to submit this scammer to our fraud division for possible investigation.

my caller display showed 925-235-1159 called multiple time the past month. No voicemail left. I have now learned not to answer calls from number i do not know. if it is important, they will leave a message. no message usually means telemarkers or even worse scams!

National Order of Police Fraternity or something like that. I asked what their overhead was and he wouldn't tell me. Not that I would have sent any money, but was just curious. Hung up and blocked the number.

Same old, same old. I gave him a warm spot on my block list

Can confirm this scam outfit is also using (925) 235-1148 and (925) 235-1158.

Same... call from Moraga, Ca.. when I just immigrated and barely spoke English a call asking for a Cops donation came to me, it was intimidating and frightening, I did not have a dime for food so did not give a dime, I just said "manana"..lol.. I wish to get this call again and practice all the curses I have learned after a nice "Americanization".

Someone called today (6/22) using phone nos. 925-325-1159 and 1148 with the ID Moraga, CA.  They never leave a message, so I don't pick up when they call.  Another cop donation scam phone number is 459-0631 (sorry didn't get the area code)  SNJS West, CA

This idiot from 925-235-1159, called for adoration for the police, he is a f****ng idiot, I wish police from that area does something,

I answered and there was four seconds delay, then caller hung up.
I returned call and a guy answered, I waited for seconds and hung up.
Not sure what they wanted, but they definitely don't know us, and we don't know them.

Have received several hang-up calls from 925-235-1159. Annoying!

This man, called us from 925-235-1159  06/19/2013 and the day before.,(My phone showed (: Moraga,CA.). I returned the call twice on 06/21./2013. The man said is tried raise fund for police . I told him not to call again. People stared to file complaints with www.800notes.com.
