They are definitely overbearing if you are even 1 day late.
In the case of the person getting their minutes used, I would recommend you stop answering the call. When I do call them about the late payment they do let me know that the calls won't stop but they notated my account which would at least prevent any further steps such at reposession. The calls are automated.

The only way to truly make them stop is 2 ways.
1. Pay them current
2. If you have a bank account in good enough standing you may be able to refinance through them and even get a lower rate.

I am in the process of setting up the refinance with my bank who approved it, lower interest rates.
I personally (since I drive a van) would not recommend Honda though as they have quite a bad reputation with transmissions going out on the van.

My car is 2 months away from being paid off. I called Toyota Financial to let them know I would be late with 1 payment and of course pay the extra interest in the final month. They were very nice, said they would make a notation, that it was no problem. And yet they call me every day, twice a day to harass me for payment. They also want to buy my car and finance a new one. They can kiss my rear end. I love my car, but I will never finance through them again.

They are calling for someone named Alejandro....I have repeatably told them to stop calling, I have no idea who he is....however, they still call at least 3 times a day.

This call is from Toyota Financial Services.
I've made every payment on time for over 3+ year and the first time I miss one (didn't get the bill in the mail) they call me and act like jerks.
My advice is to make your next purchase a Honda. In return for being rude to me, they get a payment, that they would have gotten anyways, and destroy any goodwill that they have left with customers.
I have a Prius. It took them a year to fix the accelerator problem, after it had been identified and I was notified that it was a problem. They just told me to me to put the driver side floor mat in the trunk .... for a year. Really got on that problem right away boys.
Just because I'm female, doesn't mean that you can bagger me. I'm the decision maker in my family when we purchase our new cars. Toyota Financial Service ... ask Toyota Sales what "decision maker" means.
Toyota Financial Service uses call block so people can't see who is calling. Did you ever consider that the web will have all of that information available? Who'd have guessed?
Can you spell H-O-N-D-A? That will be my car purchase from now on. The same for my kids and my friends.
BTY ... my payment was credited to my account on the 13th ... on the 15th Toyota Financial Services is still calling to harass me. Way to go boys.

Yup. It's Toyota Financial. Worst financial company I've worked with in a long time. As Kathy said, they've broken any good will they had with me for my having made payments on time for four years, in three calls over three days. Sad that companies don't realize that.

this is a reminder call from Totota Motor Finance. If your about a month behind on your payment, they call you from you this number, behind more months you'll get a call from a 279 number. Good luck everyone. We all know times are hard right now. Just hang in there.
