Multiple hang up calls. When they finally contact they try to lie their way into talking to the contact.

This number keeps calling me at work. So far I've happened to have missed it each time (they usually call after I leave). They called again today when I was away and I tried calling the number back, but it wouldn't go through. Now I know I don't have to answer it because it's garbage.

Called, it rang twice and they hung up without leaving a message

This phone number called our office twice on a Friday and did not say anything. That bothered me a lot and found these comments which helped me a lot so I can disregard this call in the future.  

This company called twice within a minute and hung up before I could answer.    On the 3rd ring, I answered and was just silent until someone spoke.   They said they were GLF, calling to boost my Google listing.   I told him I had received 3 calls in 5 minutes, and that I was on the do-not-call list and was not interested in Google listings, to please remove my number.  He continued to talk so I just hung up the phone.  He was a polite young man, but I am also tired of these endless calls for Google listings.
