I totally just got like 2 or 3 of those today too! I am certainly not delinquent on any bills either. must be a marketing thing. i have signed up for a few marketing things just to get free stuff lately though.

Just answer and tell them you're the devil. They won't call back. Worked for me ^.^

This number has called me for two days in a row. I have tried answering it both times and they just hang up. When I try to call it back, it is disconnected. So annoying. I don't owe any delinquent bills, nor did I sign up for any marketing. Yet, I get the calls. Anyone know what company this number goes to?

I have gotten several calls from this number and most of the time they just hang up when I answer... a couple of times they have just sat there... no sound at all,like it was on mute!

oh, and now I'm getting the same type calls from 1-706-599-5036

this number called me twice, and they hung up right away.

Well, If we specify what we all have in common (ie, bank of america member.. then we can find out how they got our number)

I've gotten SEVEN calls from this number in the past 2 days.  Everytime I answer they hang up and when I try to call back a recording says it's not a working number.

Received 6 calls from this number in the past 1 1/2 hours, no one answers. It is very annoying.

I got a few calls from these people today. The first couple times they called they just hung up, but tonight they decided to talk to me..... I could barely understand the lady (VERY heavy Indian accent). When I answered the lady asked if this was Erin, when I said no she tried to explain that this was the number given for some contest. She then tried to get my name and other information. I informed her that this was a number registered on the do not call list, she got quite and hung up. This is a compelete scam DO NOT give these people any of your information !!!!!

JUST got a call from them and tried to call back and nothing but a recording telling me it wasnt a working number. I'll make sure to answer it next time and tell the a***s off.

I just received a call from this number. A lady with what seemed to be an Indian accent was telling me about how I had been entered into a $50,000 sweepstakes and wanted my credit card information.  Total scam.

Called 3 times today. no one on the other line - hangs up when I answer.

got two of these calls today-  I didn't answer, and they don't leave a message.

I've been getting calls for the past 3 days and they  would just hang up when they heard my voice. But tonight at 7:20 I got a call and this guy told me I was gonna win a trip because I have a visa, discover or mastercard and all he need was my information. When I told him no thanks he said "I only need some info" I told him to take my name off the list... but more than likely I'll get a call tomorrow.

This number called me once yesterday and once today. My sister came running to get the phone for me and i pick up just to find there's no answer.

I'm with the military so I got the number and it's a scam basically. TO BOB above this, depending what kind of information you gave them you should be okay. But if you gave them anything else besides card type, then you should cancel it. Either wise that, they can't do anything with your card unless they know your name and account number and etc.

I run a small security company and receive 10 calls a day from the same number. It's a pre-paid cell phone in Tennessee. Most likely a scam.

I got a call from them and I answered the second time.   They said that I was entered to win $25,000 in cash because I'm a Visa, Discover, Mastercard, etc.... user.  So I asked for them to give me full on details knowing well enough that it has to be a scam.  The girl said her name was Melissa and then she goes "I forgot to write down the number!" and was yelling to someone named Gavin in the background and all of a sudden hung up.  DO NOT give your information!  This is obviously a scam!

I think its telemarketer too.... They just call and hang up. Can't be collections.

THEY JUST CALLED ME AND I ANSWERED...AS SOON AS I ANSWERED IT IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP AND I CALLED BACK BUT IT SUPPOSEDLY ISNT A WORKING NUMBER ! HMMM STRANGE...
