I have gotten several of these calls that appear from "Effective Teles." I never answer any calls that are from unfamiliar callers. I figure if they want to reach someone at my number, they will leave a message!

I've gotten three calls, over a two week period. Caller ID shows as "Effective Teles". I'm blocking and reporting to DNC.

Got a call from this number, said they were representing my home mortgage company, which they knew the name of, but what they didn't know is, even though my caller ID does not say what name or company they are calling from, it does show where they are calling from. NOTE: MORTGAGE COMPANIES AT LEAST MINE HAVE 888 NUMBERS AND ONLY IF YOU ARE IN ARREARS OR YOU ASK FOR A RETURN CALL.
THIS CALLER WAS A SCAMMER!!!! I REPORTED IT MY MORTGAGE COMPANY BUT STILL DO NOT KNOW HOW SHE KNEW HOW I HAD AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS MORTGAGE COMPANY!
