This is the second day in a row I received a call from someone claiming to be from the "U.S. Government Grant Agency", telling me I have been awarded over $10K because of my "great credit", blah, blah, blah. Yesterday the call came from a Washington, DC number. This is a fairly well-known scam where they ask you for your checking account information so they can "deposit" the money into your account. Here are the details (http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0113-government-grant-scams). Both times the caller had a foreign accent. Today it was a male with what sounded like an Indian or Pakistani accent. The unsettling part is that they asked for me BY NAME both times. It just so happens that I am a cybersecurity professional and I stay on top of this stuff. My number is registered on the Federal Trade Commission's National Do Not Call Registry (http://www.donotcall.gov), so I filed a complaint with the FTC.
BTW, 800notes people, one of your "Call Type" options on this form really should be "Scam" or "Fraud".
