Calls all the time, weekends and holidays, day and night.  Don't know who it is or what they want.

Also if you go to SMTMCO.COM  the web site does not exist.

I got a call from 1-940-297-0740 that requested me to logg onto SMTMCO.com.  That was a recording and that was all it said.

I, also have experienced the same thing.
This has all of the earmarks of some sort of scam!

This number call all hours day and night and hangs up

I get calls at all hours from 1-940-297-0740, 0724, 0725, 0738 etc. The caller hangs up when I answer.  If I call the number back I get automated tones.  I really like to know who this is.
