We have been on the do not call list for almost 2 years but it is worthless. This call came in at 6:03 AM Saturday morning here in Hawaii.

I keep getting 1-5 second calls from this number on my 800 service line.  It sounds like a Fax machine and only plays about a 1-5 second message.  I'm concerned it's someone trying to divert calls "offshore" and sell access to people in other countries.  How do we stop receiving calls from this number.  I did some investigating and found the number comes from:

I have been receiving calls from this number and similar from this area code almost daily, first on my land lines and now on my cell. Same as the others here. I tried sending a fax back to tell them it's a wrong number but the line is always busy.

I have AT&T and was told the same thing, nothing to do except change my number. I too am on the no call list.

I think this must be a automated number phishing for valid lines. Now when I see a call from 940, I pick up and hang up without saying anything. Otherwise it goes to voicemail. Hoping that it will register as not a good number. Just another nuisance call!

I've got this daily on both my land lines for the last 6 months, and now I'm getting it on my cell.  I called the cell customer service with only hearing that my only option requires changing my number.  Did this call ever go away for you?

sound like a fax, but was not, since my fax didnt get it... Then nothing and hang up...
