I did not answer but when I called back it was from a YMCA

I believe she is representing a local business.  However, still not happy I received the call and I just let the YMCA of Punta Gorda know this!!

I just received a call from this number to my cell number.  She identified her self as representing the YMCA and offered 2 weeks free membership.  I did not give her the chance to let me know what YMCA as she was calling my cell and I have limited minutes.  Therefore I ended the call and I contacted the local YMCA here in Punta Gorda with my home phone.  The Punta Gorda YMCA confirmed with me that they do have an outside agency they have contacted to solicit business for them.  Thus, they ARE calling numbers and for the purpose of soliciting new customers by offering opportunities (free 2 weeks).  

I suppose this solicitation agency has been contracted previously by other YMCA branches and therefore this "number" has made calls representing various YMCA establishments and not just the Punta Gorda YMCA.  

The young lady associated with this number does not have the best phone skills nor is she professionally polished.  I shared this with the Punta Gorda YMCA; I also expressed my concern and let them know that my cell phone (with limited minutes) was called.  I was not happy that it actually cost me to listen to their sales pitch!

They said they are the Rome Family Y (Rome NY) I said to them .."NO YOU ARE NOT. I SAW WHAT THE ID DISPLAYED" In the very next breath the said " Well we are doing a promotion for them " I said not only have you called and hung up before but you just lied to me. I told them I was registered with the do not call list and they were harassing me.....

i answered the call and they said they were from marion ymca.  i just told them i wasnt interested.  if you are calling me about something local, you should be using a local area code not some weird one.

I missed the call and when I try to call back it just continues to ring while no one answers

I called the  number back and it's answered by a marion ymca telemarketer routed to a different number

when it called my phone it was noisy and sounded like modem or fax noise mixed in

I googled this number. She called me last night and I did not pick up. The number belongs to a woman
named Carolyn in Punta Gorda Fl. Don't know her so I have no clue why she would call me.
