Alex Carter also goes by the number 305-290-3483. Badge number 7860011. He stated he was with secret service. I contacted the Secret Service of Arizona and found out that no one by this name is an agent, nor can you be arrested for debt in the United States. Also, this was not a badge number. I contacted the FBI's complaint board, The Attorney General of Arizona, and the Secret Service. The more paperwork that is on these people, the better physical evidence that their is if prosecution ever becomes possible. Also contact your credit bureau's and have them contact you with anything suspicious. Do Not be intimidated by these people!!! Most importantly do not give them and I mean ANY money! This is a scam of the biggest proportions

I've never heard of SSN's being changed..  But you do need to look into your CCR's and maybe put a alert on it!

Quess what? He is at again. He is calling work number today and told me need to contact the pay advance company or else he would have me arrest. He even want my cell number because on Thursday I change that phone number. I refused to give to him. I told the switchboard to forward any further calls to security and I know he spoke to the police chief here.  After that I spoke with the chief police here and told what it was about and they send a cop down and had filled out incident report and they might even contact the police department in Irvine, California because the 949 is from there.  They are recommending that I get my Social Security number change as well as checking my credit reports.

It will help if you also file reports with your state attorney general,the fbi,ftc,fcc..  there is so much of this extortion going on right now every little bit helps to track these dud's down!

Update the officer name is: Mike Dobson who is claimed he is with the Irvine, California police.  He has phoned my brothers in Kentucky and Michigan several time and  threaten to have them arrested as well. Over the past three days he has repeated called my employer phone number (Lincoln University of Pennsylvnia) and tied up the phone line so others could not called in. He at least called my office phone 8 times over the past 3 days and he got hold of me twice today.  Over this time he managed to get to the President's Office and Human Resources.  I had to reported him to my local police in Parkesburg yesterday and the Public Safety (Campus police) and supply the campus policeman information I had managed to obtain since the two calls on my cell phone on Tuesday. The University switchboard transfer him to the campus police and he spoke with them.  He finally stop only after the switchboard operator told him I was arrested (a lie). He has repeatly broken the Fair Trade Credit Act.  He was actually harassing the University, my employer.

Just receive several phone calls from this number with an threat of arrest. They said it urgent and I must called them. I knew it was unfamiliar number and the persn said he was a police officer. I had read about this new scam and I will not return the call. I have numberous calls like this over the year with this kind of threat and I have not been arrested when I refused to pay the payday loan they said I made.
