I just got a call from this number.  It said I won a free gift and to press 1 to accept free gift. I pressed 1, then it went to music.  I knew it was some kind of scam of some kind so hung up before it went to anyone

Got a call Jan 9, 2009 @ 1543 MST (alberta).  It was a hang up.

I'm located in London, Ontario. Got a call from this number today, Jan 9th '09, didn't answer. No message received. Funnily enough, while typing this I JUST received a call from another marketer apparently calling on behalf of Bell Canada. I don't usually get calls from telemarketers.

got the call... 949 is orange county, ca... i have relatives that live near there so i answered... heard the "You've Won" recording and hung up

Got a weird call yesterday, someone said that we are calling from behalf of TDBank and I was in TDbank the day before!! but fortunately she hanged the phone and I didn't give much information, today I got call from this number +19493034501 Weird

I never got calls from a telemarketer on my cell. After I add my number to the new national "Do Not Call" list, I get a call from this number. Hmmm...

It is a scam, I'm in toronto maybe if we all say what we do for a living we can figure out how someone in the SW-USA got our cell# I'm a Property Manager..downtown Toronto I will call tomorrow from pay phone and give more info here if I can SHOOT THE MESSENGER

Just got a call from this number to my cell phone a few minutes ago. I missed the call. I'm in Toronto, ON Canada.

Got a call from this number 949-303-4501, picked up, it said your number has been selected for a prize as soon as I heard that hung up, this is now going too far, first home phones and now cellphone. The gov. must make rules to penalize these people who own these numbers. Did a reverse look up the call was from Ladera Ranch, CA, USA.

yea I got one too! Just yesterday oct 1 .. m from toronto, ON too. I never it picked up. I hate this. Its not enough telemarketers call your house.. now my cell phone too!

Just got one now too on my cell phone from that number (949) 303-4501.  Taped message saying "You won a prize, press 1 to ..." I then hung up.  I'm in Toronto, Canada ... 949 originates from SW USA.

REceived call from 949-303-4501 but when answered no one was there.
