I have had 6 calls from this number on my cell phone since last week - normally between 9-10 cst and 3-4 cst - all while I am at work.  They never leave a message.

I get this call once a week. I don't answer. They leave no message.

Call received on cell phone but I didn't answer.  No message left.  Tried to call number back but call doesn't go through.  I am in the technical field and do subscribe to tech magazines.  There is one that is hounding me to renew (free) so maybe it is a call from them or their vendor.

Got a call on my cell phone around noon today.  Didn't answer and caller left no message.  Keeps calling never leaving a message.  Strange.

Received a call on my cell phone from 949-743-0195.  I was on the other line so I hit 'ignore'.  Who ever it was did not leave a message.  I tried to call it back a few times but all I got was a fast busy signal each time.  I'm not going to waste my airtime dealing with telemarketers!

Persistant calls, then hangs up with no message

They called me today. I didn't answer as it said California Call. I hope it doesn't call back, because I'm going to have to answer it eventually. I might just say what I say to everyone like that, "Take us off your list!" and hang up.

Called yesterday and called again today - did not pick up since I do not know this number.  No message.

This guy keeps calling my work phone.

Had the same thing happen to me.  Someone called from 949-743-0195 and they hung up when I answered.

I work for a midwest high tech firm and got a call offering me a subscription to Test and Measurement magazine. This sounded legitimate as I do get free technical subscription offers, but the number was weird so I googled it and ended up here. Sounds like a boiler room operation that will work for anyone (magazines, prize offers, etc.).

this number came up on my caller id and I did not answer it, and had no message..

oh my god im not alone this number is always calling my cell phone like 3 times a month no message cant call back nothing they call at like 9am and i work nites so im not up that early so i dont know what they say...so dam annoying!!!

called my cell again 20 June 07 1511 CDT.  No message.

I got a call from this number today at around 2:30. Caller ID said private caller, they just hung up when I answered.

I got a call today as well.  However, the name did show up on my caller id as Bandtel LLC.  Its some kind of computer company.  They tricked my mother into giving them our address and her and my father's name.  She's naive and gave her information, hoping for a vacation prize.  I hope they cant do anything with this info.

They actually asked for me by full name this time. It was poor connection and a guy with an Indian accent. He said his name was "Victor."

They were calling to offer me a free subscription to a Test and Measurement magazine. It would be reasonable to assume that I'd want this mag, given my job. So this was not a random call.

called my cell (Illinois area code) at 4:03 CDT.  Saw number on caller ID. Did not answer, no message left.

They call nearly every day & hangup

Got a call from 949-743-0195 to my work phone number this morning. I share a phone with one other person, and she took the call. I work at a large east-coast educational institution.

A foreign-accented person asked for "Matt." My name is Matt. I wasn't here, so my colleague asked to take a message. Caller declined to leave one, said he'd call back and quickly ended the call.

I see in another report that they asked for "Matt" at a number that doesn't have a "Matt" so I'm *guessing* they randomly got one right this time.

Our caller ID shows names only for internal calls and shows numbers for external calls.

called my cell phone at 9:05 California time. Didn't answer. Left no message.

Someone called my cell from this number twice today. When I called back no response.

Call was made to my cell phone in afternoon. I didn't answer because caller ID only showed #. Caller hung and left no message.

We had a call recently, as well.  When it said blocked name, I didn't answer it; and they didn't leave a message of any kind.

Thanks for the information. A guy with an accent just called tonight at my parents place. Requesting to speak to my father and saying the same thing such as winning a price etc. It sounded like he was calling from a cell phone because there was lots of background noise. I was extremely angry and need to find a way to report this fradulent individual trying to scam poor innocent people.

These people call me every day and they never say anything when I answer.  They always hang up.  IT is so weird
