Send me a text message about reducing consumer debt, how do I get taken off their list!!  This pisses me off.

Obviously it's a scam.  It's a shame that cell phone companies and those in the credit industry cannot control the use of our PRIVATE information.  Now consumers have to worry about scams through unsolicited text messages.

Another scam sent to my private cell number.  I hope things can be done to stop these people.

I received the same  "Do you owe $10K ..." text message. (I don't see a sales category below--I'm assuming it's SMS).  My number IS on the Do Not Call Registry.  Last year I filed a complaint re a similar caller who would not go away The calls stopped, but from the state response, I don't think it was the reason.  I don't want to discourage anyone from filing, though, for all our sakes.

I keep receiving texts from this number even though I have told them to take me off their list and after reporting the number to the FCC and DoNotCallRegistry complaint dept.

I'm getting the same thing too..everyday excluding weekends i get calls in around 10 am-12 pm..during class -____-..and there are times when i almost get caught when i forget to turn off my phone..I always had a suspicion feeling of the former owners of my phone....this stuff started happening two years ago when i first got the phone..yup right from the beginning.

Put your cell number on the "do not call" registry.
