There are multiple California phone numbers these folks call from; its clear that so many complaints were lodged against "McNulty Associates" that they now claim to be a process-serving company with a different name ('Professional Documents Service (sic)).  Regardless of the name, the game is the same-- they call and threaten alleged debtors with legal action.  It's pretty elaborate, actually, including a webpage at a "Tennessee law firm" that attempts to throw people off by stating a 'warning' at the top of the page that reads they are victims of a scam perpetrated by a debt collector they aren't connected to, or as our friend "Leonard" here, who claims to have been garnished (just to add a bit of legitimacy to the fear...)

Response is the same with these losers as will all losers:

Do not give them anything.
If they threaten, report them to the FDCPA

Just researched them, pans out to be a real company , the FTC called them verified their lic# and they are a true company, they just need to brush up on customer service so pissed off consumers stop calling them a scam.

I called the FTC and The Iowa Attorney General and they proceeded to let me know it is a scam!! Report them!! I called them back and asked them for the supervising attorneys name, their address and bar number that the bar association would have assigned them and they hung up on me and now will not answer any calls at all.

Well it ended up being for my uncle, should of told him, no he has to deal with legal issues.

I received the same call from the same people, I don't live in California where this Mark Fields is at, and the address they are trying to take it too I haven't lived at in 7 years, I don't know who they are or what they want but it doesn't have anything to do with me and they better leave me alone!

Well i stand corrected, they just served me with a wage garnishment at my job. There has to be other options that are better than a garnishment.

GOT CALL

This number just called me looking for my ex husbands wife. They said it was in reference to a court summons too. But after reading this blog, it seems as though she owes money, and has put down my number...yeah for me

got a call from this number and i am on the no list call.  I do not even know how they got my number I do not give it out.

The company is McNulty and Associates.  There are many complaints listed online in regards to this firm.  They have changed their phone number many times due to their practices.

Caller called my job claim he is trying to serve me but I need to call his office and he didnt want to serve me at work.. These debt collectors are insane..They feel they have the right to call and use scare tactics to get you worried. Its against the law to harrass anyone at their job. If you are going to take legal action then do so...

A company called GSS, Global Support Services, called and said they tried to deliver my court documents but they came back undeliverable.  I was requested to call the office of Mark Fields at 949-371-6805.

Caller is a Law Firm.... Not sure if its a scam or not.....
