Me too...I'm filing an FCC complaint...

This call was from CTI 949-752-2979.
No one there.
What can be done?

This company has continued to call after I politely spent time listening to their pitch but could not use their trading system because of the software requirements. Every couple of months they call again (new guy trying to earn money) because my phone number gets recycled. They keep wasting their time and mine. Now 99% of the time I don't answer the phone and let the answering machine do it. Many hang ups.

CTI (California Telemarketing Incorporated) - Also been getting these annoying calls every day for last two weeks at same time in early evening.  Also other numbers a few digits off.  No matter what I say to them or how I hang up or don't answer....always a get another call next day a different agent and they never leave voice mails.  If you search on You Tube for this company you can see videos of these bozos.  They are pretty proud of what they do.

These call are coming in on my cell phone, just read one of the posts above and these aren't limited to landlines, they call cell phones too. If this continues I'll be billing AT&T for lost time, lost sleep, and my cell bill.  Don't use AT&T have not use for them.

Keeps calling at all times of day and night, as soon as I pick up they hang up.

The phone companies are well aware of these issues.  They are doing everything they can to make sure they don't get put into the position of being the "phone police" as this would be very expensive for them.  So if this issue ever gets the attention of congress with appropriate laws that make them gather and investigate complaints a small army of lobbyists will jump in.
Plus they make money from these "customers".

I think I have this figured out, these people set up robotic calls, the pretend to have something to sell or offer, but what is really happening is they want you to run a trace on the call and pay someone to tell you who they are. It seems like a very good scheme. They harrass you and pretend to help you at the same time. Brilliant!

If the phone company does not do something soon, all of us are going only to cell phones and there will not be anyone else left with a land line to harrass. Get on the stick AT&T, Charter, etc and do something about it or we will just leave you stranded with no land lines.. If everyone would do something about it, these people could not get away with it. REALLY Frustrating

I have been getting calls from this group for over a year! 752-2366 is on a rotation so I get calls from one or two digits above and below this number.  If I do get someone on the line when they call, they too threaten me saying they are going to call in the middle of the night.  They do!  The last time I talked with this guy he said his name was Steve Scott (fake).  I said we do not want any more calls from him and he said I was being rude to him, I said if I wanted to be rude to him I would tell him to ---- himself.  Of course he hung up.  Wrong thing for me to do...he just gave our number to a 323 area code L.A. I think and now I'm getting twice as many calls.  I've had 40 calls since June 18th.  They have been reported three times to the FTC they are now suggesting I file a case with the Attorney General's office.  Short of changing our number I don't think we will ever get rid of these a--holes.

same thing happened to me.... but also had CTI before the number...

They called asking for my husband, until I peppered the person with a lot of questions.  She then hung up.

I just got a call from (949) 752-2366 and it showed up as CTI on my caller ID.  When I answered all I heard was a hang up.  This has happened before.

Why is this happening?  This is very frustrating!

ALWAYS CALLING SOMETIMES 2 OR 3 TIMES PER DAY. MOST OF THE TIME THERE IS NOBODY THERE AND THEN THEY HANG UP ON YOU AFTER YOU CLIMB OUT FROM UNDER THE CAR, WIPE THE GREASE OFF OF YOUR HANDS, ONLY TO FIND OUT THESE HARASSING CALLS ARE FOR NOTHING. THEN THEY SAY THAT THEY ARE CALLING BECAUSE YOU INQUIRED ABOUT SOME INVESTMENTS THEY HAD TO OFFER WHICH IS A BALD-FACED LIE.

I have been getting calls daily from this number 949-752-2366.... I do not answer.  I tried once and they hung up.  Caller ID indicates the name as "CTI"

Got a call from these scum bags yesterday. Since they are based in Newport Beach, I am suspecting a connection to convicted criminal, Kevin Lutz. In any event, I am gathering the required information to file with the FTC for violation of the "Do Not Call" regulation.

Every day I got terror call from CTI number (949)752-2366.
Please stop it.

These people are low-life unscrupulous douche-bags who call constantly.

CTI calls me all the time but when I answer no one is there. Today a male voice was on the other end so I started telling him that I did not want to be called. He informed me that if I were nice he would remove my number but if I were not he would just throw it back into the queue and I would continue to get calls. I said, ?Are you threatening me?? He hung up on me. This is a horrible menace!

Just got a call from him wanting to tell me about his company asking for me personally.

Same, answering machine always gets it, but they hang up so fast I doubt they can tell.  In the past calls with caller ID CTI  from the same area have been from a somebody engaging in financial sales.  They try to claim an existing customer relationship that doesn't exist.  This is possibly the same CTI, no idea why they hang up so fast.  But sometimes they program auto-dialers to call and call, there will be plenty of active calls available for available sales agents.  The rest of us (which is most of us) get dumped.  Its easy and cheap for them to call you with their existing phone contract.  But agent overhead is expensive.

Has called three days in a row asking to update business listing. You tell them not interested, they just keep calling. Male voice usually.
