You should sign up for Google Voice and use their call SPAM filter as well as blacklist that number(s)

This number has been calling me for days at home and work and I do not know them. They keep threating me that I am going to jail for a loan I know nothing about. I just want them to leave me alone!!!!

It was found with little research that Blue Ridge law Group is not accredited with the Better Business Beareu. There is a fine line between a Debt collector and Harrasment and threats. Lady called me stating that an investigation was being done on me and she needed my resident address where I reside. I just hung up on her because I already knew it was a scam. She called me from: 949-800-7034.

I recieved a call from Roger Davis who says he works at The Blue Ridge Law Firm saying I owe for a payday loan and I needed to call back asap. He said my case is already on its way to the Attorney General's office to set a court date for me so I can be served papers for now what he calls a felony. A supposedly gotten a  300 loan which is now thousands of dollars. The company is called American Cash never heard of them and never gotten a loan from them. He really scared me. Now that I see these posts I'm going to call his bluff, I just filed bankruptcy and told him if I had a loan it would've been included in my bankruptcy.  Wow this is crazy. Thanks everyone.

These people are calling my phone stating that I owe them money for a online check cash. They said if I didn't pay the money. I would have paper brought to my home or my job. If I fail to go to court, I would go to jail. These people need to stop with the harassing. It is not cool and they wont get a dime from me. I told them to file the paper work with the courts casue I have paper work and harassing voice messages from them as well. Please be aware of this number calling you, 949-800-7034

This number is linked to a scam. Blue Ridge Law Group (the real one) is a firm out of California. Their number is 877-410-0029. They have a website (blueridgelawgroup.com) and they do not do collections. They assist people with getting out of payday loans. The number that called me was a pure scam. I called and spoke with Blue Ridge Law Group (again the real one) and they stated that they were aware of the issue, they are a scam, and had reported it to the FTC as well as some other agency (cant remember the name.) DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFO, THEY ARE A SCAM, IF YOU PAID THEM CALL YOUR BANK NOW AND LET THEM KNOW.

Just called my work -- interestingly, I had just received a payday loan online (necessary) and I KNEW that these idiots would begin calling soon after.  All I do is immediately transfer them to the Police.  Hopefully they will get caught.

P.S.  They always call after 3:00pm -- mostly because, I think, they are calling from India or where ever, using US Indians to provide phones from within the US.  Any comments?

These people call me all the time. he is rude and sarcastic! the same guy calls but he changes his name each day. Says that the police have been called and will be coming to arrest me. How do they get a persons name and such to harrass you? I don't have any unpaid loan with them.

This indian sounding guy calling himself andwer black call claiming my wife was to be arrested for warrents of fraud. Now this is one of several that have called and I had done my investagating before so I really just let them have a peice of my mind. I explained that I have all the time in the world to harrass them back. So I let my 2 year old call them back a few times lol these people are stupid

they called me this morning 08/30/2012 12pm and said i owed $500 and would help me i put them on my do no call list on my cell phone

I RECIEVED A CALL FROM THIS COMPANY AND THERE WAS AN INDIAN MAN ON THE OTHER END TELLING ME THAT A POLICE WOULD BE COMING TO PICK ME UP AND PUT ME IN JAIL FOR A WEEK!! I ASKED HIM FOR HIS ADDRESS AND HE SAID HE DOES NOT HAVE TO PROVIDE ME WITH ANYTHING. I TOLD HIM I AM A DEBT COLLECTOR AND I KNOW MY RIGHTS. I TOLD HIM YOU CAN'T THREATEN TO PUT ME IN JAIL!! HE STARTED GOING ON ABOUT HOW HE KNOWS HIS RIGHTS HE WORKS AT A LAW FIRM. THIS IS A BIG BIG SCAM!!!! AND A BUNCH OF BS!

he said  was going to be arrested...and I told him how come he sounded real indian with a name like Keith Wilson. he said he was from some law firm somewhere.
Why cant these people be stopped. I know it is  ascam but why do people like this able to take advantage of hard working people and try to scam them out of their money. especially in this economy!!!
we have enough stress. as you can see I just talked to them..boy did they get me upset.

Got home from work, and their was a message on my answering machine.  It was from a "law firm" that had "a serious matter to discuss with me and for me not to disregard it."  Got a previous call two weeks ago ON MY JOB.  My supervisor sent me an email with the phone number in it for me to return the call!  I did, and of course, they said I owed for a pay day loan that I didn't have.  I was to retain a lawyer, and wait for an arrest warrant to be issued.  The caller, a male with an indian accent, couldn't give me any specifics and got rude when I continued to question him.  Even hung up on me after "wishing me luck" in my court case!  Today, I called the number back and had to yell into the phone to stop the guy from talking.  They are very persistent.  I stated that this was a scam and I was calling the attorney general's office.  He said I'd be arrested on Friday, wished me luck again, and quickly hung up.  If they call again, I'm just going to yell into the phone that my phone is tapped and they are being traced! Then I'll hang up before they have a chance to try and scare me again.  Maybe they'll stop calling.

Got three calss from these people. One on my work phone. TOld them not to call my job we do not accept personal calls here. They tried to ask for my cell phone as if they dont already have it. I wish they WOULD! Bring it on I don't like scammers! They don't say why they are calling just that a case is against me.

Just got a call right now. Third one today from different number. Told them I was already in contact with my state's Attorney General's Office. They said they were from the Blue Ridge Law Group. No way to actually call the law group. Yeah they have a website but it gives no info on the F*&$%&^ attorney's or location of the office. I did talk to the Attorney Generals office and this is a complete FRAUD!! SCAM!! Don't pay them S%&T!

These people called me telling me that I owe them money. I don't knew who these people are plus I never took a loan from them. When I asked about the loan information they couldn't tell me nothing, so they say! They told me if I did not pay $300 they would have me arrested! Obviously, they think they are smart but I'm a police officer! They said they would call my job to get me arrested! Lol, that wouldn't be to smart on their part! They have stopped calling me but this truly is a SCAM! As an law enforcement officer we can not take you to jail for not paying a loan...the most that could happen is you receiving a subpoena! But, I repeat DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

Catherine Jones just called me again from same number I told her I was not stupid enough to fall for it again and Iknew she was scamming me again.  She accused me of lying and told me I will be arrested.   I told her I was calling cops and she yelled at me.  I hung up but she wont quit calling.  What can I do?  Any suggestions

These people are full of crap. They are annoying and irregant. They threaten people because they think they can I sure hope that no one falls for their crap because it is not fair to those who work hard to earn what they make. I recieved a call from this number even thought my number is on the don't call list. I told them that my attorney had asked me to call them and tell them to fax or email me the information that they had a copy of the papers. I also told him that I had investigator looking into this. The man who's name is Roger Davis. He told me that they could not email or fax the papers and they would have the delievered to my place of business. I told him I would not be at work on Friday and for him not to do that. When I asked him to tell me about what information was on the documents he would not do it because I had an attorney. I also told him that I was sick of them harrassing me. He said he was not harrassing me, I really dought that. They are rude and unprofessional. I wish someone would do something about them. I will be calling the Attorney Generals office to report these numbers. I will also be talking to the investigator and attorney again. These people are just looking for easy money and to see who they can scam out of money that they don't deserve. I sure hope that there are other people out there that don't fall for this scam. PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THESE SCAMMERS THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE PEOPLE THAT FALL FOR THEIR THREATING  CALLS.

Today I received a call at work from 949-800-7034. It was a female with a pakistan accent names Catherine Jones. She told me that I took out a pay day loan and I haven't paid it back. I never took one out. They are calling from the Blue Ridge Law Group and told me that they are suing me. I need to get a criminal reputed attorney and have him call them back.  They told me that either I needed to do this or they would have the police cuff me at my office or home (and gave me the 2 addresses).  Do not confirm anything to these people. They are scammers.

This happened to me and I panickd and payed part of what they wanted and are going to call me back Fri for the rest.  I had to pay by money pack.  Not going to pay this time just not sure what to day

there people called my husband and he doesnt even use the computer, and they told him he owed $300 and had 48 hrs or would be arrested. when I ask the lady Erika Perkins (with the indian accent) how I could get in touch with the company she called "American Cash" She told me I should just have my lawyer call her and hung up on me.
