This number texted my cell phone with some weird spam about reducing debt up to 80% or whatever.  It also had instructions to email in order to "unsubscribe," but the email was something like optout4@yahoo.com.  It seems pretty bogus to me.  For one, if it were something legit, it would have a yahoo email address, and two, I never subscribed to anything, and it's illegal to spam cell phones- which they would have to know it is one since they are trying to send a TEXT message.

I'm not going to reply.  I think emailing would probably do more harm than good, because it only confirms that the number you want them to stop harassing is a valid, working number.

Got the same text as Laura above. Never signed up for something like this.

I got this message too.  I HATE junk texts!!!!  I am definitely NOT writing an email to that address, it is clearly a way to get on a spam list.  Apparently my phone number is already on one, but at least they won't get my email address too.
