Caller ID showed "Out of Area" & the number.

Message left on machine by a Laka (??) Molina of the Scott Lowery Law Office identifying herself as a "non-attorney debt collector" looking for a Luis Ayard.  Message was the usual format of "If you are not <name of intended prey> hang up now, if you are <name of intended prey> stay on the line, since you continued to listen to this message you acknowledge that you are <name of intended prey>.  This call is an attempt to collect a debt, blah, blah, blah."  Based on the pacing and sound quality, it was either a live caller or an extremely good computer simulation as there was none of that all too apparent splicing between different sources that is usually present.

This message did not even give the usual half-of-a-breath pause to allow someone to hang up before they rattled out their debt spiel.  Not that it mattered as they were talking to an answering machine.  And they had to know since the message did not start until after the record tone.  So all of the message that Mr. Ayard was to listen to "in private" was recorded on the answering machine of a complete stranger, but none of it will ever be heard by Mr. Ayard as this stranger does not know Mr. Ayard and, while the number being called may have once been Mr. Ayards, the number is not assigned to nor is it accessible by Mr. Ayard and has not been so for at least two years.

This number has been added to my blocked list, the next time Scott Lowery's idiot minions call they can talk to my fax machine modem.
