received a call on 2-6-14 from this telemarketer scammer. I have received calls from this number before. I never answer any calls when my caller ID indicate the person calling does not give a name.

Scam solar sales.  Illegal telemarketer that violates the do not call list.  

They call constantly 4 x a week - I never pick up

i am so tired of these daily scam/telemarketers/survey/whatever phone calls.  nearly every single day several calls a day from different numbers.  many numbers calling multiple times.  i bought a panasonic phone that lets me block calls and i have so many blocked now.  i just received a call from this number again, i had previously blocked them so my phone did not ring and they did not get a chance to leave a message because they are blocked.  but i had the phone sitting right next to me and saw the call come in with the caller id showing begin before it got blocked and dropped.  my point is i am so glad that i got this phone and have been able to block a lot of numbers.  i guess when it fills up, i will delete the calls that i only received once and start with blocking more as they come in.  it gets tiring to have to do that, but it is also a relief that they are not getting through to me after they have been blocked.  i wish they would be able to be stopped from calling so much though.  so very annoying.

They were ditched back in October so it's clear this is a robocall. A person would hear "this number is no longer in service" and remove me from the list but obviously not so anyone who uses a computer to contact me is not a salesperson I would want to talk to or buy from. Nor are they legit because they do not abide but the DNC list. Don't pick up, ditch and file a complaint.

On the do not call list, stupid energy stuff.. cannot call back, phone does not ring.. Pushed 1 and it was a recording saying someone will get back to me in a couple of days.. LEAVE ME ALONE...

Again they call and again they are ditched by my service. Thank you youmail.com !!! It's obviously a robo call because if a person were actually on the line they'd hear - This Number is No Longer in Service, and might actually take my number out of the loop. Just another Energy scammer. They called me 10/5 and other dates. DO NOT PICK UP OR TRY TO ENGAGE IN A CONVERSATION if you don't use a blocking or call diverting service.

Got a call from this number at 6pm tonight.  Did not recognize number, did not answer, let the machine pick up, no message left.  CallerID said UNKNOWN NAME.  Called number back, got telco recording that the number was disconnected or no longer in service, which almost always means that the CallerID is spoofed.

Do Not Call list but this outfit is not a legit business and ignores the list. Left voice mail. All the scum suckers like this try to speak as if they are approved by our government but they aren't. They are just another telemarketer to non-legit to actually advertise and market their services like the rest of us who own businesses. We abide by the law and they don't so no matter what they sell, we don't want what they sell..

Okay, so the salesman shows up Friday late afternoon but before he shows and after the initial appointment was made I get 2 more calls from a "manager"  to confirm that my home qualifies.  The first caller asked questions such as;  Am I the home owner?  How much is my electric bill each month? Am I the decision maker and/or will my spouse also be available to hear the money/environmental and home improvement benefits of solar? The second caller called about 20 minutes later with the exact same questions and a couple more regarding credit score and general financial health questions.  I was very vague in answering the questions.

The salesman shows up and starts into the most high pressure sales spiel I have ever heard.  As he speaks all I can think of is the unfortunate senior citizens that get pressured into a sale by this joker.  

I cut the presentation short and he shifts into how offended he is that he has set aside time for me and  has traveled a significant distance spending time away from his wife and children and yet I will not give his the courtesy to finish.  My response direct and specific, "I never want to be contacted by you or your company again...this is non-negotiable...leave now".    

I was able to get all of his and his company details from material that he gave me and I took photos of him, his vehicle and vehicle license plate.  What am I going to do with this information? What is my next step? I do not know at this time.

Although this thread discusses the home security scum, it can apply to "feigning interest" to collect evidence against the appointment making swindlers. In about the middle of the thread, there is a good post from an attorney.

Illegal telemarketer. They waste my time I waste theirs. I made an appointment. The salesmen will be at my home tomorrow evening. Ill keep him just long enough to send him on his way into rush hour traffic.  Enjoy!

When I called the number to have them remove our phone number from their database, even though we, also, signed up on the Do Not Call list, the recording stated, "the number you have dialed is either changed, disconnected or no longer in service". Duh! I need more Preparation H for these Telemarketers.

Energy scam.  Message starts talking without waiting for beep but cuts off front  part... I certainly won't pick up and press"8" to be taken off list... all they would do is determine that it is a "live" number and sell it.  I never pick up...  call and hang up is annoying, call and message even more annoying.  And second call during dinner hour.  Pooo.

Phone screen displayed LAKE ELSINOR CA and this number. I let it go to answer and now message was left. Caller now blocked.

there's a lot of callers similar to this one where the phone number is just displayed with the city and state on my caller ID. I block all of them after I get the number. I got a call blocker from Digitone for this reason. cost is about a hundred bucks. definitely peace of mind insured my decision to do it.

Another recorded sales call. Donotcall.gov is a joke, it's almost worse than before they created that website. Read the search results. The only thing to do is block them on your phone.

telemarketer recording left on my machine about installing some system or other even though I am and have been on for quite some time, the "do not call" list which is a total joke.  This is a telemarketer who clearly doesn't care about any laws anyhow.  What good are the laws if nobody enforces them?  I'm blocking this number.  Sorry if this posting is hard to read but I have a cracking migraine today  and things like reading a computer screen and jumping up to ANSWER THE PHONE from a stinking telemarketer umpteen times a day are not helping.
