I answered the call and no one on the other end.  I have a service appt. on Monday at Luther Bloomington Hyundai.  

No idea why this place is calling me.  I don't live in MInnesota and haven't been there since 1976

It is the Luther Customer Care Center  and Empire... I had a dispute regarding a new battery and they checked back annoyingly often to see if I was satisfied...

Mankato Luther Honda - Reminder for service appt.

Yeah, it's Luther. They call every day. Finally they got me in person last night. Got another call today. They're on my blocked list now. When I get through with them tomorrow they will probably refuse to service my car ever. In fact, I have never been there. I'll dust 'em off.

Luther automotive group. If you have a service appointment with them, they will call you to remind you of it. They called me today but my appointment is on 04-29-13 with whitebear acura so they are indeed a little early on the reminder but I do not mind

they frickin call to try and get you to buy a warranty wish they would give me there home number

Brookdale Chevrolet.  A human on the other end wanted to know how excited I was about my latest oil change.  Meh.

This is for Rudy Luther Customer Service Center. Got a call from them asking me if I wanted to schedule an oil change.

These people owe me nearly $5000 for services bought almost a decade ago, my bad for not pursuing it.

Now I get a junk phone call from Danny Luther's Auto group when I don't even have a car with them. Maybe it is Monte B. The guy who won't pay his bill.

Appears to be an number commonly used by local car dealerships to send automated appointment reminders and confirmations, but their system is poor at best considering that most reports that I have seen describe no one being on the other end, the ones that do list a successful call connection are almost universally Minnesota car dealership contact calls for legitimate business purposes.

Received a call nobody was on the other end.

I also received a phone call from this number to confirm an appointment I made for my car.

Received call from 952-258-8500.  I let it ring into my voicemail.  It was Toyota City with a service appointment reminder.

think it's for all automotive appointments in the Minneapolis area, mine is from Subaru/Acura.

I believe this is some kind of appointment and/or customer service number with Twin Cities car dealerships.  Luther Nissan/Kia uses it.

I received a call from this number, but based upon the what others have said, I am a little bit more at ease.

I called the number back and I was connected to the Rudy Luther series of dealerships customer care center, you can press #1 and be connected to a representative or press #2 and leave a message.

I spoke to the representative and told the lady that when I answered, I heard and automated "Hello" and then the line went dead. She stated that the automated message system is meant to notify existing customers of either to confirm their appointment or to notify the customer that a part for their vehicle was in.

She entered my phone number and told me that the system was just calling to confirm my morning service appointment at the dealer I bought my vehicle from.

They also use it to cold call trying to get you do schedule service appointments.

Brookdale Mitsubishi calling about some recent service they did on my car. Not a recording, live person only asked 1 question. Scale of 1-10, how likely would you recommend us to a friend or family member? I said 10 which is true. They have always taken care of me and I couldn't have been happier with my last service visit. The survey stuff kinda gets annoying, but meh I was very happy with the service.

I had an Appointment with North Country Ford, in C*** Rapids Minnesota, the first week of February 2011.
I do not answer my phone from an Unknown Caller.  
I presume it was from them.

I had an automated voicemail message left from this number reminding me of an upcoming service appointment at Bloomington Acura Subaru.

If you dial that number, you get the "Luther Customer Care Center".  I got two calls from that number within 1 hr today.  One on my cell reminding me of an appt I had at Luther VW, and another on my home number for the previous holder of my phone number, a cold call from a different dealership (Toyota I think) for car service.  [They agreed to take my number off their list.]  So sounds like this family of dealerships does all its dialing through one service and it shows up with this number.  Not too sinister, as these things go.

Luther North Country Ford also uses this number. Got a call this morning reminding me of an appointment I have tomorrow. There wasn't a live person on the other end, just a computerized voice.

This number seems to be an out-sourced service company following up after service done at Rudy Luther Toyota in Golden Valley. They have called me three times since my last service work, leaving messages, despite my request to not be called.
