The "card services" scammers don't "get" any phone numbers--they use a robodialer, which dials numbers in a sequential order, until someone answers, and becomes their next potential victim. They are not calling you, they are calling a phone number, which happens to be yours.

Just received two calls from this number on my cell phone (which is on the DO NOT CALL LIST). Offering to lower my interest rate on my cc to 6.9%. Press 1 to speak to an agent. Press 2 to be removed. The call ended when I pressed 2. My cc company does not call me...they notify me by mail. Scammers.

This number is CURRENTLY being used by the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

They call about interest rates and won't listen when you ask them to take your number off the list they hang up!! Con artists trying to get you're credit card info

Called my cell and invited me to press #1 or #2 to lower my Amex card interest rate. Just ignore it and I thought it is a scam wasting my minutes. I type this number on the web and find out that this number is a scam.

Called me, I pressed 1 to speak to an Agent. Agent says they could help lowering my interest rate on my CC's I asked which one, Agent says your Visa, Discover Cards. I don't have a Visa CC! He then says we can help you with lowering your interest Rate on the $3,000 that you owe, I replied I'm sorry I don't owe $3,000 Agent then says "You don't owe $3,000?" I said No sorry, I don't! Then he Hung up on me! Beware SCAMMERS!!!!!
