I responded to an employment ad on craigslist and now Robert is going by Honduras. I thought it might be a scam. But I too was planning on checking the validity on the payment. But now they are using other mail carriers.

I posted an ad on Craigslist (Seattle) to sell an antique sewing machine. I received a response right away from Jade Carpenter, who used two e-mail addresses (jademcfish23@gmail.com and jademcfishh@aol.com) in her communication with me in the days following. She indicated that payment would arrive in the form of a US Post Office money order. Her e-mails were characterized by poor written English and garbled syntax.
Within a few days, I received two money orders (each in the amount of $933.50) by mail from Robert Williams, 8901 NW Cashe Road, Lawton OK 73505, with no explanation as to the reason why the amount far exceeded the cost of the sewing machine. Jade indicated to me that Mr. Williams was her "personal assistance." My suspicions were aroused, and I did some research online.
Further instructions from Jade indicated that I was to cash the money orders and wire the excess funds through Western Union to Trudy Irene Brown, 320 S Columbus St. Keizer OR 97303.
I checked at my local post office to determine that the money orders were indeed fraudulent. I reported her, Robert Williams, and Trudy Irene Brown to the U.S. Post Office for mail fraud. I have had no further communication from her.
