i got calls from different numbers daily isnt it cool lol :)

Got a call from 954-217-0000
and when I answer the phone I heard the 4 tone music from intel then it hung up, got the same call a few days later.
A week after I got the same call from a different phone number 888-535-8634 and still the intel 4 notes tone song.
Very very strange.

They said I won money. I told them to get lost

No message left.Just hung up.
Very ill child had finnally went to sleep and this call woke her.
I am so sick of these calls

Received call, left no message. Definitely a Telus SCAM. I filed a complain to the Canada D-Not-Call list as this is outright law infringement. A hefty fine will likely ensue and I encourage everyone whose number is on the Canadian DO NO CALL list to file a complaint as soon as you receive a call from these scammers.

Got a call from 954-217-0000 on Friday morning.  Didn't recognize the area code and thought that a phone number ending with four zeros was sketchy, so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message and I was curious, so I checked the area code out. . . Don't know why I'd be getting a call from Fort Lauderdale, Florida up here in Montreal, Quebec, Canada when I do not know anyone down there.
I tried to make a long distance call to a family member in the US right after, but instead I got a recording saying that the number I dialed was "disconnected."  WTF?!
I'm watching my phone bill closely from now on.

yup, after reading everyone else's posts... I can safely say I didn't pick up 1-954-217-0000... because I never answer numbers I don't recognize - Initially I let them leave a message, and call back if it's important.
So I called back just out of curiosity and the automated recording answered, "this number has been disconnected". So these guys are frauds and know how to scam, so beware!

I suppose it is a general (phone) number of a phone center/server used by many users, inclusive the long distance calls providers AND the cheap calling cards.

I received this call once, and didn't pick up (a number with 4 zeros is very weird).  I received the call again 2 hours later, and answered.  The lady on the other end said that she was from Rexall pharmacy, where I order my cigarettes.  I order my cigarettes online (which is probably where they tapped into my phone number), but NOT from Rexall.  She said they wanted to know if I wanted to place an order because they have a special for %20 off.  I said "No, I don't want to be receiving calls from this number", and she hung up.  They obviously wanted me to "place an order", and give them my credit card information.

I live in Vancouver, Canada, and had a call from this number today to my work cell phone. They did not leave a message as my v/mail indicates I work for police services -- that usually keep fraudsters from calling back!

Same thing for me, they called me and left a blank message. Sooo tired of these calls. There is a government site you can go to and put your number on a "do not call" list. I didn't answer, knowing that i know no one from Florida, which is where my phone said it was from.  It's obviously a scam or telemarketer, wish i knew how the b*****ds got my number...

I just received a call from this number, when I picked up I heard what sounded like a bit of a Disney song, and then nothing.  But it said Bell on my call display.

Just got a call 5 mins ago, same number. a 90 yrs old females's voice saying "u just wont $2600 to claim ur prize press 1" i thought ok wtf? i will press 1 and hopefully will be talking to someone to give them crap, but they disconnected when i did press 1

Received a call from 19542170000,these people should get a f****n honest job, instead of hastling people like me and you. If I knew who these f****rs r and their location, I would personally go or fly there and kill everyone of those f****rs myself. People like these r nothing but a bunch of f****n a***oles, kinda like me.
