It's WaMu calling to collect on their credit cards! They call from several different numbers all day long!

Yep -WaMu uses different numbers and call everyday of the week at all hours!

This number called me 5 times today.  I call it back, and it's busy!!  Very annoying!!  Now I look online and it's possibly linked to a scam?!  Just what I need...

I started getting a call from this number; the irony is they won't take the money I send them yet anyway because it's not enough. They reject my payments AND call me all day every day.

However, they also call me from an 866 number. Someone should point out to them that it is illegal to harass a person with phone calls, even for the purposes of debt collection. At one point they were calling me 11 time a day (might be more now that they're calling me from two numbers), which means almost one time every waking hour.

I even spoke with them about what was going on and WHY it's taking time to get the money to them and that they were refusing to take the payments I'd sent. But even after talking to them they still call every day. I've learned you have to ignore it and simply wait until you can send a large enough bill. It'd be less frustrating if they'd at least take what was being sent to them so far until we worked out a new payment plan, though.

866-619-5497 is another one; the one they normally called me on.

Thank goodness I get paid so much more this time of year; I should be able to get them back on track and set aside a cushion for next year's rough patch.
