CareerBuilder has a job ad for this company. The job is "Appointment Setter" for "U.S. Media Television" which produces Inside Business, and here's an excerpt of what the job involves:
- Schedules appointments for Associate Producers/Sales
- Heavy phone work. Speaking to VP’s and Presidents of corporations
- Outbound calling
- Appointment Setting experience a must. Sales background a plus
Interesting that their "Associate Producers" are in "Sales"

Same BS as the one reported above. These guys pick up a word or two from your company web site, mention it, and expect you to pay to be on their show.
Just ignore these people.
I hate people who are not up front about what they want.

I received a call as well. Sounded fishy. I googled the number 954-379-4338 and this post popped up. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully this will help people not get scammed.

I have to admit I find it kind of offensive that these scammy vanity TV production companies think my company would PAY to be on their show. How many viewers do you think these types of shows actually get? We have had major media publicity (CNN, Oprah, ABC, etc.). Yet they still think we'll fall for having our CEO return a call to an "Assistant to an Associate Producer." They left a garbled message that had nothing to do with our type of business. We don't have time to waste on this nonsense (although apparently I have time to post this warning for others!) I just wish they'd state up front that they are selling air time. I would have a lot more respect for them.
