I haven't seen any sign of them being bad eggs other than some obvious people that just have personal issues I would assume.

I did invest with DB Management, and i will admit that I did lose my initial investment, but it is the market, although I will admit I thought they just took it, however, I reinvested a little more, and i did see a small return on that one.

They are con men of course they were able to explain away their past. That is what they do, they con people. Of course they took their time with you. They want your investment. Did you invest with them? If so, let us know how it goes. If they do not lose your investment and you actually make money please post. I have spoken to a few people that have invested with them and yet none have a kind word to say about them. Of the people I have spoken to, every single one of them lost their entire investment.

I actually got called a number of times until I finally ended up investing just a little bit of money. I was expecting the worst, hoping for the best. I actually didn't make the return that I had hoped, but I did see a return and was able to pull my money out as had told me i could. I had no issues with them other than them calling me more than just a few times.

Hey Mike S. Why don't you scan, download, and post your profits for everyone here to see? You won't because you are them. You are a liar, as are they, and bigger thieves than the ones in prison. They will be too. Only a matter of time.

These guys are not only forex scammers. They are also into selling silver on leverage. Precious metals "brokers" are not really brokers at all. They are unregulated. What they do not tell you is that they charge 15% of the total value of the metal "Up front". They buy as soon as they get your money rather tahn on a market pull back. They don't manage your account and they don't send out account statements. They are absolute crooks. I've been there. Stay away.

These Guys are a bunch of low life frauds. They lost me my money in 3 days.I have read all of these posts and it seems to be that the people that have been sticking up for the company are indeed the thieves themselves.I have lost my savings because they told me that there was no way they can lose me money. The FBI is investigating them.So in due time will they pay.

i have made money with db management. in fact, i asked who i was speaking with, about this site; and they were unaware of anything negative written about them. db management showed me different investment time frames before i got started and even explained how they have lost and what their contingency plans were if i was to lose.i asked about using a stop loss order and i was told of the advantages and disadvantages, and i can honestly say at no time was i ever guaranteed anything as far as rate of return. i did 12 trades total and came away with a nice profit, i was nervous of course the whole time, but the company did a good job explaining what drives the market, and i was satisfied. i asked for my money back and recieved it almost a week later wired to me. my account is still open, but they were getting a new trader in so i wanted to take a step back and give it some time before i go forward again. all i can say is after seeing this site, some people are bitter, but my experience was worth it. i guess thats why they say the market isn't for everyone. i made money and im still nervous every time i trade.

DB Management is now going under the name Mercury Management. Same scammers. Don't lose your money so that these scum bags can live the good life while others suffer. BTW I found this on another site in reference to this company that is an interesting read:
QUOTE - written Oct. 2007
"954-491-9238 DB Management is a forex management company that will invest all your money and LOSE it strickly to make as much on their own commission in a very short period of time. They are hiring people in the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami area. They are run by guys named Dan Kannaly and Dan Brown. You can see their history since registered with the NFA www.nfa.futures.org  . You can do a search for those names there and see the prior complaints about them (They do have prior complaints!!!). They have a website called www.learn2trade4x.com that was opened in July of 2007. They will lose all your investment in a short period of time. If you want to learn more about Forex scams check out www.forexfraud.com > If you have been scammed by this company or one like it then please contact the agencies listed at that website and report them! The more reports against them the better chance we have of stopping them!"

Here is a way to solve this simply ask them to provide you with documentation of their profits and losses in the market for the past year. NOT their commission profits but their actual profits and losses in the market.

Btw,
Quote:
"funny thing you never send your money to db management they are regulated and have a clearing firm!"
That is correct but thats now how they con you. They don't actually steal your investment money. They LOSE your investment money and they earn as much money as they can on COMMISSION. They will dwindle your investment down to nothing down to investing small amounts to earn themselves more commission. They will buy and sell currency each time charging you a fee for going in and another one for going out. They wont stop until you have lost it all. You will be left with nothing of your investment. That is how these conmen work. Also, I was told by one person that if you try to get your investment out they will just tell you that its all being invested presently and you have to wait. This gives them that little bit of extra time to dindle your account to nothing and for them to make that much more commission off of you. Dont believe them when they tell you that there is a stoploss at a certain percentage cause they ignore that and continue on knowing the investment will be lost. If you call and complain they will give you some bs excuse of "not being able to get into the system to pull out in time"The poster above had it right. Bad ethical business practice.
I highly doubt that Merrill Lynch does business the same way that DB Management does. Good luck if you invest with these crooks.

i called the company after recieveing a message, i listened to what they said and then explained i was "eating" with my family, the person i spoke to was curtious and said he would call me back in 45 minutes. when i recieved the call back, i simply let the person know what i found on this site, they were aware and very sincere and honest with an explanation. i am posting this because after speaking to the company "db management" i was aware that whomever listed this first of all; listed this without all the info just excerpts to cast a negative light on these people! funny thing you never send your money to db management they are regulated and have a clearing firm! nice going bad mouth hard working people who are trying to earn a living!! merryl lynch has 144 complaints and sec fines, db management took time for me and spoke with me and never rushed me, @ the end faxed me some info and left it to me, couldn't ask for more help and proffessionalism.

Big difference betweeen companies that honestly try to make money for their clients and those that victimize their clients. The complaints from people against Dan Kannaly and Dan Brown arent just people that lost money to them. It is the tactics they used to get clients and the lack of care in their clients investments. These complaints arent about losing peoples money its about ethical business practices:
0299620    BROWN, DANIEL ALAN    ? C.R.2-9 - SUPERVISION OF EMPLOYEES
? C.R.2-29(a)(1) - FRAUDULENT COMM. TO PUBLIC PROHIB.

If you a background check of complaints at any firm, there will be unsatisfied customers. Take a look at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, all the big firms. There are winners and losers, thats the markets place!
